i believe the server is only keeping the stats from about 7pm est to somewhere in the morning.

it is not keeping the stats of the daily play.

i played on sunday morning, all morning, until about 11 am. after i took a break and came back around 6, i played for a few rounds and then, around 7-ish, i did the !stats thing and i was like 3-2. it had erased all the previous stats of the the few rounds. after seeing this 3-2, i played for a while longer and hit !stats again and it was only the new number of the rounds i had plyed from 7 on. so, i remembered the new number....(we'll call that number 200-7) so i could check the log the next day. well, the next day that number was 200-7. it had not kept the stats from the entire day. only from 7 on.

monday, i played in between work and my soccer match. i played with stock, i think. i did well. not as well as stock, of course, but i had about a 3 ratio after 3 rounds. like 225-70. well, i check stats here on the forums today, and it didnt register.

i thought someone should know.

The !stats command is totally separate from the STATS page on our main page.

The !stats command only keeps track of your stats while you are playing. Once you leave the server they are reset.

after hour 1, !stats said i was 3-2.
it didnt record hour 1.

where do our stats on the forums come from?

The !stats command shows in game stats only. Once you leave the game and come back they are reset. If you were playing for 2 hours straight and in hour #2 the !stats command showed the incorrect stats, it is probable that the program got reset. This happens occasionally.

As for the stats link on our main page, those stats are created by a completely different program and are calculated at (I think) 7:00am every morning.

on the same note, sometimes the web stats and in-game stats will not equal out.
This is caused when the server crashes. Web stats are ran automactially on the log file. If the server crashes, I have to manually run the stats program on a seperate log file, sometimes I'll do this other times I don't, it depends on if I have the time.
