Alrighty boy's, for those that don't know im leaving to join the Air Force. Lately i been pretty busy in makeing phone calls, filling out forums, and taking care of my girlfriend, so i apologize not being in the server as much. I get my ticket today to leave to atlanta next week to get my physical, ill be away for 2 days. Hopefully, shortly after my physical ill be leaving to basic. Now ill be away in basic training for 6 weeks and ill be in tech school for about 33 weeks "almost a year". Once i get out of tech school ill be station at charleston north carolina where ill be working on jet engins, fixing, replacing, troubelshooting ect, but ill be getting a house in georgia so i can be near my girl friend, only untile she gets her lpn degree then shes moveing to nc with me.

So thats pretty much the scoop of things, once i get an exact date and time that i leave, i will post it in here. I hope when i get back that most of you are still around and everything is pretty much the same, but then agine a year is along time.

no not yet, we decided that it wouldf be best to wait tell i get out of basic and seteled down. I need to start saving up some money, cuz the ring im looking at is in the price range of 5-600 $. The timeing is just a lil off and alot is going on, i rather wait when the time is right so it will be a more memurable moment.

Well I'll tell you this on vent also soup but you will be missed. You have been a great homie of mine for along time and I am hoping badly that we will not lose touch. Unless something drastic happens I will stick here, but afterall a year is a ways away and anything could happen.

Alot of people showed up, about 200, half of them were shippers being sent that day to basic. Now the only thing im waiting on is my recruter to get back so he can tell me my ship date. So any who, thats the update, i will make anouther post once i have some more info.

I know Bullet told you to watch who you hang out with (won't let me quote for some reason), but if you find yourself with a long weekend you can come to my bar in Dallas (although there is really no reason to go past Austin!). Just let me know and I'll take care of you the best I can.
BTW, my dad was stationed there when he was in the airforce '60-'64. It made him hate Texas. To this day he has only come back twice. Once for my wedding (I convinced my wife to get married here even though all our family was in the NE just to make my dad break his word that he would never step foot in Texas again) and at my sons baptism (I told him if he didn't come I would stick him in the most rundown nursing home I could find when the time came).
I know that doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I love telling that story.
