i vote no
XYZ Factor
I think its a good idea.

It may not be perfect but if the kinks can be worked out and goodfellas continues to grow it could work.

Shifty
yes for sure

instead of having 1 full server we have 2.

Sure its a pain when you're the 1st or 2nd person to get forwarded, but more people get forwarded in short order.
All full servers gotta start out with some people.

If you really don't want to get forwarded jump on vent and ask us to make space for you in the 1st server
Bargod
Are the choices yes, no and you are gay? Cuz, I vote you are gay. LOL
|$aucy|
I vote yes because it doubles our popularity and I never get forwarded tongue.gif .
realdeal
The idea behind it is that hopefully the other server will gain popularity on it's own and there will be no need for forwarding. The only way to gain popularity right now is to have people in it via server forwarding.
If it starts gain popularity on its own the forwarding will be removed.

I think we've been through this before.

Look amigo,

The whole point of the 2nd server is when #1 is jam packed on a weekend or at night, people can play in another MOB server. It keeps people playing in mOB servers and not making them go to others. Would you rather play in #2 with the competition it provides, or go to some packed n00b server? I will admit though, when I have been moved, most of the MOB and MOB REGS aren't in it, if it all. Do you have to have missionary to stay in the first one?
Shifty
weird...I was in goodfellas for ages (longer than anyone else in there) then all of a sudden I got kicked to the other server lol.

I thought it only forwarded ppl who had just joined
Squirrel_Lover
Shifty, i think it was supposed to, but i think it just randomly does. Personally i have never been forwarded.

PISTOFFBAD, what are you talking about?
NecroKitty
The only time it's an annoyance is when I go to the trouble of connecting with Missionary, and then get forwarded to the non-Miss. server.,

Other than that, as long as there are bodies to shoot it doesn't matter to me where it is.
realdeal
Misionary is coming to the second server soon! biggrin.gif

You know Mona Lisa's thread about some people using Ventrillo to their advantage while others like myself don't have it. Just another example. I know I was told to ask for it but I feel it's such a guarded thing I ain't askin'. I know, I know gives.gif

Won't this throw everybodys stats outta wack trying to climb the ladder in one server and missing a few nights in it being in the other?

Two things.
1. The only reason MOB doesn't make the vent info public is because their have been problems in the past with people ruining it for others on purpose. By asking for the info MOB reduces the risk of assholes annoying the rest of us.
2. I know a lot of people are stat junkies. I don't know if the stats are combined or not, but in my oppinion it's better to just relax a little and not be such a stat junkie. I know that there are a few MOBsters that would disagree (FLAME, Stock and Diesel come to mind) but seriously, does it really matter if you have a 3.7 kill ratio instead of a 4.1?
Of course I go ape shit when I'm over 2, but I just love to play, so if I'm barely squeeking by with a 1.1, I really don't give a shit. Of course, if I'm getting killed more than I kill, I accuse people of cheating and blame my mouse or the lag on the server.

i cant vote because the way the forwarding is. i love the idea of the forwarding but it should just fwd the people comming into the server not people comming in after. the atmosphere changes and you lose the vibe that builds in the game. i like the idea, just the kinks need to be worked out. BTW whats up with the 64 person server? and the mob that runs it? maybe putting up a good topic and if the 2nd server gets full boot to that one. MOB needs to re-think the advertising that is done for servers. combined advertising is much more effective and it can reach more people. but in order for it to be effective there needs to be some talent there. i would be willing to help out or take it on if needed. just i played on there once and liked it. just it needs people. anyways..... hell ill vote yes

There are separate stats for the 2 servers.

I realized that today when I checked it out. I also realized if you miss one game night (which I rarely ever do) you loose overall stats. Oh well, my overall was never that good anyway.
An idea I'll throw out is to not forward people til after a certain time in the evening. I played last night on II for a couple of ours with no more than about 4 people total because they kept leaving. It wasn't til later when a more constant flow of people started coming in they start staying. When you're in there for 2 or 3 games and nobody else comes in people leave.
GanGsta_XtyleZ
Fowarding is bull!!... I see no mobs on goodfellas II. All Mobs play on server I. I rather see my "Server is full" thing than being fowarded. I dont like playing noobs like me. I like playing canadians, frenchs, americans, etc. tongue.gif
XYZ Factor
last night there were several MOBs and MOB Regs

Server 2 had more players last night than 1

Just to let you know
