Dude, if that took you all day in Fireworks, you really need to get Photoshop.... What you've got there would be a matter of 5, maybe 10 minutes. It's a really powerful program. Gives you more time to focus on the details and things like that.

You should stop by Designer's Crypt sometime. We've got a bunch of people who could help you out with it. PS has a rough learning curve, but it just takes about a month of practice or so and then you can pretty much do whatever you want with it.
