im sitting here in front of my MAC in my warm house. safe and secure. just wanted to throw a thought out that we have allot of good men women and children six feet deep. taken from this world by a bunch of sub human lower life forms.
on top of all that we have troops deployed in a multi front war that is under serious fire from the liberal mainstream media. all the liberal BS about christmas just makes it worse. take a min out of christmas (or whatever u observe) and just be happy that we have a this safe time for the moment (might not last another second) and tell ur family and friends how much u care about them.

if u see a solider say thanks you dont have to agree with the war or anything else. but if it was not for them we would not exist. they protect us all the time.

all that being said allot of people are not coming home tonight allot more are never going home. allot of mom's and dad's.

Merry Christmas

I caught something on the news last night about people that go to the airport (In Texas I think) once a day to await the plane carrying the soldiers that are coming home from Iraq for 2 week R&R. They meet up with the Soldiers in the airport and welcome them home with hugs, kisses, hand shakes, etc. They don't even know these people!!

How great is that?

Good point Silver. I live here near Fort Bragg and Pope AFB. I talk to these guys from time to time. My neighbor does intel for the F15 strike Eagle and he has got back recently. Some have been over in the Middle East 3 times now. All these guys have a good attitude about the war. I seen a local hero the other night Mason Poe who was almost killed over there http://www.dunndailyrecord.com/main.asp?Se...bSectionID=&S=1 . He is now in a wheel chair for the time being but still wants to come back and help his brothers in combat. How can you not thank these people enough! I will surely keep them in my thoughts and Prayers and I hope every one else does the same.

Something to think about.

after i posted this i was watching fox news, and they were talking about a soldier that lost his arm in combat. after he arrived home he was informed that he was broke. the service billed him for the equipment that was left on the battlefield and his medical costs. sen. clinton got his guy home to be with his family and found that this is not uncommon. hes fighting for whats rightfully his but why should any soldier have to pay for anything? i was talking to a friend in iceland (a navy sea-bee) he was telling me that they have to pay for all sorts of things including uniforms stuff. WTF kinda crap is that? these men and women should not have to pay for anything.

wonder how this can be turned around? i would love to try.

I cant believe that. That's a bunch of BS!!! You always here about these kind of vets that risk their life for our country then come home to live in the projects or even homeless and thats the thanks they get for defending our freedom.

GD, that's freakin' bullshit. THey sacrifice so much and then get the bill for some shit they leave on the battlefield.

Silver, I think if you contact your Congressman (or woman) they can help.
