this goes along with the sniper only topic, but like someone said there are enough of those out there. what there ARENT enough of is RIFLES only. just regular rifles, no snipers. IT'S SO FUN. i used to play rifles only all the time and have become accustomed to using rifles all the time, not to mention it's made me tons better with a rifle and aiming. the server i used to play on didn't have a slow-firing garand mod, but on many maps (remagen, crossroads, DV) i preferred the muaser anyway due to it's accuracy and power at long range. but there are slow-firing garand mods out there too...
just a suggestion because there aren't many rifles only servers at all, but there's tons of sniper-only. of course you'd have to have realism on the server too... but it's almost like a quake3 rail match except with more skill and tactics involved. for any of you who HAVENT played rifles only you definitely should give it a try...

Ya man, rifles only are preety fun to play, helps you out a lot too. I would't mind playing rifles only sever once in a while.

i used to play rifles only ALL THE TIME. it's so addicting and i'd love a GOOD rifles only server... and being as my skills are in the area of long distance shooting, i prefer the mauser over the M1 in many instances... although in real life i'd rather have an M1...

I used to think that this would be a good idea too, but then I thought, If the whole point is to improve your aim and skills, then why not use the rifle on a regular server, where players perform at their best with the weapons of their choice?

it's just much more fun with only rifles... cause then u dont have lots of sprayers and crap so it's easier to practice... and also so that everyone has nearly the same chance with nearly the same guns. you should try it... it's mad freakin fun... and the point is not just to improve aim... it's to have fun =)

stockguy, we're not talking about snipers, we're talking about REGULAR rifles only... which means only garand and mauser, with possible slow-firing garand mod (although the more skilled ppl go axis when there's no slow-firing mod)... as for 1 bash/kill mod, it's not bad it just wouldnt work in a rifles only server cause then in closer range ull have everyone just bashing and that's gay...

you're right though, a rifles only server would be fun, except i vote for speeding up the mauser, not slowing down the garand.

i got banned from a rifles server yesterday for bashing on of their clan member twice in a row..it was fuckin hilarious!

If you made a CKR 1.1 rifles server then I'd be all up ons..

well of course there's gonna be realism on the rifles server!!! no point in a rifles only server without realism...

My vote is for rifles only with the same mod as OGL rifles only, once we find out if it will change.
