Full Version: Ping and missionary
Hi guys,
I have a problem and I want to know if anyone can help,
When I first started playing with you my ping was around 50.
Now its 150 or more, Ive done everything I can to get it to stay low (even running scans).
I dont mind using missionary. I think it's a great idea and I support it however, When I use it I am disconnected every two or 3 minutes,
When I try to use missionary it then takes a further 5 minutes to load everything then I go on and get disconnected again and im finding it very fustrating thats why im having to go on sometimes without missionary. Today I have been banned for not using it. I want to play on this server but I have now run out of ideas.
Can anyone help?
P.S is the ban permanently or just for the day

What exactly are you getting disconnected for? What reason is it giving you?
Also, there's an option on Missionary to RUN MISSIONARY AT A HIGHER PRIORITY. Make sure that is checked each time before you start MOHAA. It should stay checked, but sometimes it doesn't.
As for your ping, is it to every server or just ours?

thanks for replying back so quickly,
I am disconnected for high ping and I got kicked out straight away.A few weeks ago everything was fine. this only started happening 2 weeks ago. Over the past two weeks everytime I use missionary I get lots of LAG and then I get kicked out for High Ping.
As for the ping, that is only happening on your server. but a month ago all was fine, my ping was 20 30.
When I got banned yeserday for not using missionary that was because I wanted to play with you guys but the only way to do this was to play without it.
I checked to run missionary at a higher priority it wasnt ticked so I ticked it, but couldnt try it because I was banned.
Please can you give me some advice on how to sort this out

Shadow, I've been having the same problem....used to be just fine with a solid 50 for ping until about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Since then it's around 100, usually a little more. Checked with my isp and everything is fine on my end....it must be something with missionary or something with the server. Hope it gets better soon....lag sux and getting booted for high ping is getting real frustrating. good luck

Yes, I guess we will have to wait until it sorts itself out.
