I manually update everything. I don't want anything updating while I'm in the middle of doing something else. I just gotta remember to do it though.

Yes, I know what you mean. This has been a problem for me with my virus program. If I'm playing MOHAA when the update starts, it slams me out of the game. That can be a real problem if Behemoth is trying to end my life. I put it on manual. However, Microsoft Update asks first before it updates your computer.
