Diesel was our first recruit after the split. As I have previously stated, he was a big part of our success after the split. Again, I did not want this to come to this but unfortunately it appears that some people cannot just let go.
I have always considered Diesel a true friend however, the longer I am around MOB and clans in general, those you sometimes consider true friends are not and will stick the knife in your back the first chance they get. Unfortunately, I personally have learned this lesson the hard way, a few times.
It seems that Diesel is spreading mistruths about the reasons he left MOB and I thought I would "clear the air"
First of all, Diesel never bothered to tell anyone in {MOB} that he quit. His last post in our forums was after the =SK= match where he stated that he was "done with mohaa" and wanted to stick to COD:UO. This was fine as Diesel had previously brought this up in the past. But the next day he deletes himself from our OGL roster... never to be heard from again.
Nice huh? This is how a person treats his fellow team-mates, some of whom he had been "friends" with for over a year.
Second, Diesel cites a "lack of competitiveness" within the clan. This is just not the case. What I think Diesel is referring to is his frustration in the match vs. =SK= when we got out asses handed to us. Right before this match we had a number of issues. Gridlock was having random computer restarts and couldn't play, Madcapp couldn't play as his vent was not working, we had a miscommunication with Anvil and thought he was playing, but he wasn't. So, we had to pull Shifty (who hadn't played the game in months) out of retirement and into the match. Shifty had about 20 minutes notice, Ktulu was having cable connections and was pinging out and Diesel was having connection issues and thought he didn't have vent for most of the match. (He did) We tried to re-schedule but it was too late. I think you get the point; we went into this match ill-prepared. No big deal, we shake it off and keep on moving. We've lost before and will lose again. Shit happens. Diesel doesn't handle losing well. As far as Diesel having the most kills, this is certainly nothing to brag about in a match like this. See for yourself HERE.
Other than this match, we generally have too many members sign up for a match and decisions have to be made as to who will sit out or back up or sub in/out of rounds. So to claim a lack of competitiveness is just plain dim-witted.
Diesel also claims that we allow too many members into MOB and that we just let anyone old-body into MOB.
This is an interesting one considering Diesel basically threw one of our recent recruits (Who BTW is no longer with us) down our throats and against some people's better judgment, on Diesel's word, we took this player into the MOB family. (This player quit not 24 hours after his first match). Other than that player, our only recent recruits are Madcapp and Gridlock. Two players that I and most consider to be two top MOHAA players. Diesel had no problem recruiting these players either. So again, I am not sure where this is coming from.
Further, Diesel brags about having the most kills in our match vs. SK and claims that the fact he was having connection issues and still had the most kills on our team was "pathetic". Diesel, there is no "I" in team
Apparently, Diesel has told several people the above reasons for why he left MOB, because I've already been contacted by a few people that Diesel has spoken to.
I did not want it to come to this however, I will not let someone tell lies and bad mouth this clan. Sorry, it's not going to happen.
I warned Diesel 2 times not to start this crap and to just let it go. To my last message Diesel replies:
"dont worry u start shit and I have everything to make ur precious clan fall apart...You started by telling me not to BS people why I left and I will tell them WHy I left like I have told them the truth ....its always good to have a mole (friend) in the clan...also I gave up moh "
Now Diesel claims to have a "mole" within MOB that has sent him private posts from our member's only forum. If this is true, we will weed the person out eventually and that person will be dealt with.
Furthermore, Diesel continues to play in our servers, of course he doesn't use his real name. He uses names like -|TLD|-SVTCobra (wishful thinking?) and $}{r|nk.
I could go on and on but I wont. I just wanted the truth out there in the open.
Good luck to Diesel a/k/a Vap0r[=VX9=Rct.] !
Go ahead Diesel, ruin "my precious clan" now. I'm waiting.
