but you guys are going to say that i'm gullible for believing that they're former members.

now let's remember, this is PNAC's website, that those people were former members of: http://www.newamericancentury.org

and let's not forget http://www.newamericancentury.org/Rebuildi...casDefenses.pdf
now explain how i'm dilusional? seems i've caught you guys this time.

jees :/

Jesus man...
can you find anything you don't think is some consiracy.

Take the big view and please tell me what you see wrong with the ideas behind PNAC?

If you remove the excess verbage this is what the PNAC stands for
1) Remain a superpower, try to be the only superpower
My greatest fear after a large scale terrorist attack on mulitple target would China would overtake us as the predominat superpower, this BTW I see happening in my lifetime.
2) Defend America from new emerging threats
What idiot could possibly find something wrong with this??? Nevermind don't answer that.
3) A military able to meet present and future challenges
Same as #2
4) A foreign policy that boldly and purposefully promotes American principles
Oh my god... It's just horrible that we might try and spread the ideals this contry was founded on. After all democary has been nothing but a bad thing for us, why would we want anyone else to suffer like we have under these oppressive principles called democary?

Or here is the princles aim of the PNAC in their own words
• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global
responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;
• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;
• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;
• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.

I guess I'm kind of slow and stupid on the uptake.
What again was your point that this was a bad thing?

well there's nothing WRONG with their ideas... now i dont particularly belwive in all the stuff about preemptive war and regime change in Iraq... but it's just the chilling prophetic words:
"The road to change will likely be a long one, absent some catastrophic catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor." hrrrmm :/
Druid
So again the same question
Your point is what?
Saints
BTW wikipedia's articles are all USER posted..meaning it often is heavily biased in one direction or another.

huh...i see them growin faster then ever but i see a social revoultion comming before that. i dont see current china being a super power. i believe the only reason we are the way we are is because we are totally free to think and express our thoughts, limiting that will inhibit their growth. a social reform would be great for them... i think if they do become a super power with there current system in place i see russia.

China and India are going to pass America by in the very near future. Their explosive growth and increasingly competitve economies are really dangerous, not to mention that they're both nuclear powers.
Silver
yeah but with the western influence and their (china) repressive goverment, you think they will thrive??? i really dont know, i hope they become free(er)
Blakjak
India and China have much freer markets than you might realize. This coupled with the fact that their populations are overwhelmingly young makes them top contenders for world's superpowers. I think the greatest hurdle for a country like China is it's envioronmental issues.

I think china's economy is doing great,as of now, but with their rising demands for feul i think that it will cripple them along with the rest of the world. unless we start exploring more viable solutions. didnt china restrict googles and other web sites and search engines from western influence? that kinda attitude will hurt there future growth. but i may be wrong, china has the possibility to be great..again...
Blakjak
I don't know about the google bit, sounds like a rumor to me. The oil point though is a good one, and I guess we'll just have to see how they respond along with the rest of the world to shifting energy resources.
