after the bitch fest this afternoon, we (gene, redeemer, and myself) tryed a few experiments. none of can get on a roof to save our life so all that went out the window. be we noticed 7m3 a guy i kicked for sniping out the glitch doors ( i thought he had a wall hack and he never repied to me when i attampted to talk to him) well come to find out you can lean in and out of them and shoot out the door long as you barrell is out the other side of the door. nades and shots going into it dont go through. so you can glitch/lean in and out and not get killed. not fair if they cant hit you right? some {MOB} members use this glitch so i wont kick for it but we need a fix fir it maybe block the doors with boxes? I dont know what to say... what can be done?

Surprisingly i've never seen that action and all and havent experienced it. But i agree, there should be a fix to stop the unfair play. I don't know how it can be done but i guess it could be a possibility.

I do it. I found it pretty soon after playing on Cassino. I consider them black curtains, but it doesn't matter. You can't shoot trough them, but you can walk through them. I do it occasionally, but not often. I don't want to kick people for it not because I do it, but because it is too easy to do. Not many people know about it, which I agree isn't fair, but I also don't see it used too often. If we could make a fix where you couldn't do it I'd be all for it, but until then I think it would be too annoying to prevent. It's not totally unfair, because to see somebody to hit you have to lean through it. When you do that you can be hit. For now I don't see it as being a big deal. But I agree it's something a decision should be made on.

Just to clarify, I have considered this a glitch along the lines of the Stali hallway glitch, but not a shooting through black windows glitch. Maybe not totally fair, but not a cheat. I think a decision should be made one way or the other. Until then I will not use this glitch.

To actually shoot someone you have to be all the way out with your body in plain view. So it is up to u guys.

all you have to have is a little bit of your body out, same as the glitch with walls on MoHAA but through a door.

As far as the glitch doors, you can mod the map and block them, but the so-called advantage is really pretty small.

Now to be fair to all the MOB members [listen here SILVER] I will be pleased to demo roof jumping for any / all MOB members who request. I'm attaching a Cassino map overview. The GREEN dots are roof tops i can get you to. The PURPLE dots are buildings I can get you inside.

If you want me to demo the techniques just reply / e-mail me. You'll need to set up a server and give me the IP and time. The server should be set without PB on and should allow cheats (just easier to show you how it's done if we're not constantly dying.)

Interesting. I think we need to come up with what's allowed and what's not.

I don't play the map often enough to know so I would like some ideas.

These aren't actually Glitches REALDEAL. To block the accesses you need to know HOW to jumps are done -- hence need demos.

The second problem is if you try to block accesses (boxes, walls, etc.) you're creating new jump points [and may actually be making the jumps easier]

im able to do almost all of those roof jumps (i did them today in my practice serveR) very easy to do once you get the jumping action down.

All of the positions i marked on the map above present fair targets, so there really is no unfair advantage.

I suspect trying to tweak the game to get rid of the jumps would cause more problems then it's worth. Easiest solution:

1. The glitch roof and the neighboring roof we hashed yesterday are deemed illegal.

2. Do nothing about the other positions available.

3. Learn to do the jumps and use the positions

i have demos and am avble to do the jump (after many repeated attempts <low fps rate>) i dont need you to demo anything for me. take the rockets out and the problem is mostly solved. harder to do a nade jump then a rocket jump. have to have good timing and for noobs its much harder. blck the windows with boxes and yes you have a very good chance of not getting killed if this is done.......Click to view attachment........ now no arguement... look Mr. Pink i am not here neither is any other member of this clan going to Baby sit a server, we are there to play too. same as im not going to split hairs with anyone either, i like idiots that go on roofs = EZ KILLZ. block the windows on the inside and put a tank on top the buildings or boxes w/e.

as far as FPS, there's no need to adjust them at all to get the jumps. happy you can do them yourself and don't need a demo, but hey i offered.

so the roof jump issue is resolved. roof jumper = EZ KILLZ [provided no glitch exploiting]. That's fine with me. see you on the server.

BTW www.codjumper has a bunch of the jumps, just not all of them (last i checked)

gee, here's a dumb idea. instead of trying to block roof jumping access points (and likely creating new ones in the process) why not just open the roof tops here and there....add a staircase, box, whatever.

if say, we put boxes on top of the roofs preventing any opening fromb eing there, you will not be able to get up there, because it is sealed off, show me how you can jump past 3 boxes blocking that hole.
