You should check this movie out. It's no huge blockbuster but it is a GREAT wwII movie.

Saints and Soldiers

Very true. I bought the DVD--great movie... If you check out the director's cut where the director/producer narrate the entire film, you'll learn it was made for under $1 million and all sorts of other cool stuff about the actors, etc. Trivial but true: That photo of the woman that the kraut almost seizes from the American POW but lets him keep? That was an actual photo the actor's grandfather carried with him throughout WWII, including the Battle of the Bulge. It was his wife.

Highly recommend. $10 or so at Target
