After thoroughly investigating the complaints about the lag on our COD servers, I really wasn't able to find anything other than a possible system problem with the server.
Our host has shipped out a new server to our Chicago data center today and it should arrive and be installed sometime tomorrow.
There will be sporadic outages as we make the change and get the new server up and running and you may experience some lag tonight as I am in the process of backing up some files.
The IP's to our server WILL NOT be changing.

On another note, I know several of you have your signatures hosted by Little Old Man. The web space used to host his signatures is also on our server.
So if LOM is hosting your sigs, there is no need to bother him if you notice the sigs are not working. They will be back as soon as our game server are up and running again.

The replacement server is in the Chicago datacenter but we are now waiting for them to swap the servers. This could happen within 20 minutes -OR- it could happen sometime tomorrow.
I wish I knew the delay was going to be this long so I wouldn't have taken the day off of work.... Oh well.

The resets of the Barb map are due to the map not the server. It's a known issue and the developers of the map are not able to correct it because Activision/IW never replied to their emails asking for additional information that causes the error.
