I am speechless....

I went to Mardi Gras with my wife and another couple and a group of 4 black kids (probably around 14-15 years old) were moving through the crowd feeling up the women. They got around to my wife and I punched one of them in the face as he went by me. Two cops saw this and after I explained to them what happened, instead of arresting me, they made the kids apologize to my wife and I. They then waited for the kids' parents to show up and Mama smacked one of them so hard I doubt he has the feeling back in this face yet.

There have been dozen of catastrophes like this over the years. Far to many times the people effected are busier looking toward their own personal interest than working as a group to help the community as a whole.

The next day the Governor gave orders to the police and soldiers under his command to shoot all looters on site, although there wasn't a single case of a looter being shot, by the next day looting was drastically reduced when the word got around.
