Im interested in a new pc. So i can play the new games comming out.

I just prepaid for DOD:Source and i cant wait until cod2 comes out. i may need a new pc for cod2 tho. ( i dont know the pc specs yet)

I played it last night and it is really great

i pre-ordered quake4. i have always enjoyed playing quake.

I have been playing quite a bit of the FEAR multiplayer demo and have been having a blast with it. Something about running around owning peeps with the shotgun just doesn't seem to get old. The COD2 demo looked like the game definately still needed some optimizations as it seemed as though it should run better on my system than it did. It will be tough to decide next Friday between Quake 4 and FRAR as they both come out that day. I may have to get them both.

I'm really loking forward to Quake 4---I wasn't as crazy about FEAR--seemed solid---just not that fun---but I really need to give it s better try, 'cause it had some cool elements to it----I'm burnt on thw whole COD thing---no offense 'cause I know a lot of you like it---you guys have a fine server---but it just isn't as fun or challenging as BF2 for me----

Day of Defeat----Very good game

COD 2 is the only upcoming game that shows the most potential for single and multiplayer. That we all the COD series is known for and will only be made better. Nothing else seems to be able to offer everything that COD 2 will.

You must have played a different COD2 demo than I did. It felt to me that it had been consolized and the fact that it ran like ass didn''t help either. I hope they optomize it considerably before release. FEAR looks to be the one IMO.

by the looks of it cod2, fear and all hte upcoming games you will need a killer video card to run that motha...

how does is handle on your box???

FEAR runs pretty good at 1280*960 with settings on medium with "Soft shadows" turned off. At these settings the graphics are as good or better than any other game I have seen including Far Cry and Quake 4 . You definately want to make sure you are running the latest version of Video drivers for your video card as the this version of both manufacturers (ATI and Nvidia) have optomizations for this game.
