New York Rangers are going to make the playoffs this year. Islanders suck, the Red Wings are going to be first in the West but lose in the playoffs, and Pittsburgh is a terrible team (Crosby = overrated).

Yes the Rangers will make the playoffs---All the lazy multimillionaires who were dead weiaght are gone--and they have on eof the top 3 players9Jager) in the league-plus some good veteran defensemen--I've been watching them and like what I see---Crosby is the real deal, but the Russian Dude in Wshington--the first pick in 2004 who didn't get to play last season is even better... I'm just glad Hockey is back, 'cause The NBA sucks, and I don't have to watch it any more

Saucy, you are right about a couple things; Islanders DO suck, my hometown wings WILL finish first, but WILL NOT, I repeat WILL NOT lose in the postseason. I agree with RD, Rangers doubtful to make playoff's. I totally agree with BG....that song is sooooo gay, homo's don't even like it!

The Rangers are rebuilding. They have a bright future, if they don't make it this year, next year is a definite possiblity, especially because they will have a lot of cap room.

Crosby...4 games...6 points...overrated??? Are you out of ur fuckin mind. Watch a penguin game. You'll realize that they have NO defense...and their offense is amazing. We have Gonchar...who is the number 2 defensmen in the league...but he hasnt done shit. There is absolutely NO chemistry on the defense. Fleury is an outstanding goalies...one of the best in the league IMO. Our offense...Palfy, Lemuiex, Crosby, Koltsov, Rechi, Leclair, Fata....i mean come on. Once this team clicks its off to see lord stanley. I beleive the best thing the pens can do right now is trade gonchar and pick up two solid defensemen. Washington sucks...terribly...rangers...blow...devils...good as usual...ottawa...good record...but idk if they're all they're cracked up to be...pens destroyed thiem in preseason 7-2...we're in the middle of the conference right now as far as standings go. Its on the beginning of the season...I expect a break out from minnesota, the pens, and look out for tampa bay.

I agree the Pens do have potential, but as you said their defense blowz, and you don't go anywhere without a good defense. Tampa Bay is good, but won't go far in the playoffs.. the loss of khabibulin is too big, minnesota is decent.

we've still got the trade. As for for fata being a reject...hes one of the fastest players on the team...and that says alot seeing that we have names like rechi and palffy. Hes come a long way.

ah but we're still like 9th in the league do to our points. All but two of our games came down to overtime close loses. These penalty rules need to be changed....and they also need to reinstate the crease rule.

That crease rule was the most retarded thing I've ever witnessed.

so it makes sense to have the opposing team sitting on the goalie to cause a goal...or the opposing team laying in the net...ive already seen goals counted with both of these things going on. That is complete bullshit. You should not be allowed in that area.

The rule was distorted so that goals would be reviewed and if a players skate was in the crease and he did not interfere with the goalie at all, the goal would be disallowed. It should be up to the referees discretion to rule if the player interfered with the goalie.

The crease rule definatley was not perfect...just ask Hasek & the Sabers about that.
