Or, like here in Dallas, you can watch penguins stand around in August in 110 degree heat. It's like you're slow broiling them.
Of course, the Dallas zoo totally sucks. About 90% seems to consist of deer from around the world. "To your right is an oryx. If you look over on that hill you'll see a gazelle..."
I get it! They're deer. Big friggan deal. I can see more interesting animals in my back yard.
I heard the gorilla exhibit was cool... until the gorilla got loose last year and the cops shot it. Poor gorilla.

That was complete and utter bull shit. If your gonna have a zoo of wild animals you have to expect that sometimes severe shit is gonna go down. They should have been prepared better.

Yeah, a big stink was made about it. Apparently they trained regularly for emergency situations. However, when the emergency came, all the zoo people went to their assigned positions and waited for the police so they could move in and recapture it. Of course, the police didn't bother with the emergency procedure and went in and shot it. I should also point out that there was a woman and child that were kinda trapped by it. Still, if they had done things the way they were supposed to they probably wouldn't have killed it.

Guess they need a new Gorilla...I'll give 'em the name and number of one of my old girlfriends cause I can think of a couple that may fill the bill.
