Hi Guys... I'm sure this one must have been asked before and its bound to be an obvious answer. Why does the ping vary (sometimes wildy) on different occasions? When the connection is good... its very good. But when its bad... well all I can say is its like watching a 1920's movie. Is it because I am in a different country to the servers? Does it depend on who is playing..... or is it 'just one of those things?'

Any pointers or wise words of wisdom would be appreciated. Wulf

When ever I play on our stock maps, I usually have a problem with ping. That is the only one. I find that when a new map begins and everyone is getting in my ping goes up to 999. Then I usually get kicked. That is the only server I have problems with and due to this fact I normally avoid this server. I never have problems with any of our other servers.

Ask Shadow, the other UKer, he normally has 90-120 ping connecting to our Chicago servers, which isn't bad and normally, he doesn't have any problems, so...

Thanks Cuda.... it's usually both the Barbarossa maps... like you it can go up to 999. Most of the time its fine but every now and then........ no chance.
