Gentlemen,

Around 2:30 am I was playing on your .66 server when all of a sudden, without any warning, I was banned. The message indicated an admin ban for "unspecified reason". I reconnected and was kicked for banned name or ip. A reconnected a few more times asking why I was banned, but no one replied before getting kicked.

The only ={DMG}= player in the game at the time was ={DMG}= Farmerbrown, unless there was other ={DMG}= members in the game on covert ops.

If someone thought I was cheating, they could have forced match level ss on me and I would have been only too happy to send them in. They would have seen I am not cheating. In fact, my team's tag was chosen specifically in protest of one of the biggest cheating clans we have ever come across.

Any idea who banned me and why?

Farmer is what we affectionately refer to as our special member, and I don't think he has ever banned anyone. We force screenshots on anyone prior to banning them and if you did not receive any I can only assume it was some type of glitch. I have heard from a few other regular players who also said they were banned for no reason last night. We will look into and remedy the problem asap.

There is some glitch in our CI. It is banning regular, non cheating members all the time. We will look into it and kill the parties responsible for the problem. Send us your ip so we can unban you.

Hmmmm....I seem to recall something like this happening to me one time....oh yeah...now I remember...it was on MOB 4...RING A BELL??? You know...the server that YOU banned me from without any warning or Screenshots taken. I still wear the same tags I had then ={DMG}=WaRgAsMaTrOn ,and I used to like playing there cause it was one of the only servers where I actually got a 50 ping on....which is very few and far between. My point is....it sure is the shits when you get banned from a server for no reason at all isnt it LOL???? Dont get me wrong...I didnt bann you...I wasnt even home last night.
I have gone thru the list and your IP is not on it....so I am assuming it has been removed already.

MOB 4, I used to love that server when I lived in CA, <50 ping with a 64 people it was a blast. He banned me too, under similar circumstances. But I had DSL and a dynamic IP so it didn't really matter.

McDude, I use the same running log I did back in the MOB #4 days (quite the lengthy word doc). I did a search for McDude, but the search came up empty. For me to answer your allegations you would have to provide me the name and IP you used back then. If it was another admin that banned you, not me, I can’t help you as they didn’t keep a log like I do.

WaRgAsMaTrOn, now your name I recognized prior to starting this topic, and I did search and find your name in my log, but I didn’t want to bring it up in public forum and embarrass you in front of your teammates. Since you did.....

After reading my notes on your activities I still believe I was justified in banning you. We had numerous other players complaining about you, which is what started it all. I didn’t force any ss on you because CI didn’t support forced ss back then. I consulted another admin, and we spec'd you for many maps over several days. We agreed something was up. So we asked you to go to spec for almost a whole map. You ignored us, so we gave you the boot to get your attention. When you came back in you jumped into the game and again, ignored us for almost a whole map. So you got the ban. Now, if you had answered us perhaps the outcome would have been different, but you didn’t and that’s what got you the ban. Sorry! The notes in my log are more detailed, this is the simplified version.

To expand on {BOM}, we make no secret of the fact that we fly our tag in protest of the {MOB} clan, who’s ranks at least partially consist of liars, cheaters and racists, and who’s officers elect to allow this type of behavior.

Thanks for looking into the ban thing for me. I'll see you in the game sometime, unless this reply got me banned again.

No....you wont find yourself banned for that....you can say whatever you want NOOB....the reason I was banned is I was owning your ass... thats all. You babies complained about spawn killing . I remember the time to....there were 44 people playing on the server, and you expect that with 22 people on each team in Southern France....that no one is going to get Spawn killed....geezuz....give your head a shake man...l shoot back when being shot at...sorry bout your luck lol.

As I said, we suspected you were up to something, but we had no proof. That is why we repeatedly asked you to go spec, to get the word straight from you. Instead, you chose to ignore us. That is why you were banned. Again, all you had to do was answer us

As for owning me, I honestly can’t remember if I was owning you, you were owning me or we were on a par. My log doesn’t have an ownage column. If it helps you to believe you were owning me, I don’t have a problem with that. In fact, if you actually were owning me then I am a better player for it, and I thank you.

If your gonna go around banning guys cause they wont come into spec....thats a little weak my friend... DUOH!. With 44 players dying and spawning so quickly....do you not think that I may have NOT NOTICED that you were talking to me because of how fast the typing was going bye LOL??? Not too mention trying to keep my ass alive LOL. Perhaps I was punching my monitor at the time or smashing my mouse...I been known to do that once in a while hahaha.
Your right and I agree....its a dead issue.....just thought I would mention how I was a little peaved that I got banned and had no place to dispute it on like you do here on our forums, which really sucked....although...eventually, a few months or so later....MOB did get me unbanned me after I talked with a couple of them.

Lets get a few facts straight.
1) I put up with your whining about the language used on the MOB server. I was nice about it and recommend you find another server.
2) I put up with you and other {BOM} member whining about spawn killing on our server. I was nice about it and recommend you play on one of the dozens of servers with a no spawn-killing rule.
3) Then you come on OUR server accusing MOB of cheating and you act surprised when I finally ban you.

EVERY SINGLE MOB member now runs Missionary when we play. You were so sure of Cypher and Cobra cheating, I'm sure they would both love to have some {BOM] member come on the server to get owned and still cry about MOB cheating even though missionary 100% proves they are playing stock.
In fact, why don't you and some {BOM} members go download missionary and come play on our server. Then you can show how well you do against people you accused of cheating.

As for you using the name {BOM} as a way to fly a flag of protest against MOB.

We say....we definately accept. Download Missionary so we have no accusations of anythin. War will be in the scrimmage as well, with Missionary.

Please provide the proof of the cheating. I would love to see it. If you do not have any proof, please do not make any accusations on our forums about this matter again. The people that cry "cheat" the most are usually the ones with the least amount of skill.

Finally, please find a real name for you clan. Taking the name {BOM} is the most ignorant, unoriginal clan name I have ever heard. WTF are you protesting? A clan that beat your ass on a regular basis? If that be true, you better be ready to change your name to ={GMD}= .cnI egamaD after our match.
