Actually, there are several other animals that have sex like humans, in other words, without a "mating season", but instead when they are around the opposite sex and aroused. The next closest animal to human that has this response is the Sea Otter. The male Sea Otter will try to hump any female Sea Otter that hangs out with it for a while. There are a couple of other mamalians that do this and one type of bird.
I learned all this crap in college biology. The professer was WAY into Sea Otters, though, so all his info on them may be a little skewed. But, if it wasn't, the Sea Otter is one crazy friggan animal who knows how to party! -------------------- |
