question is not from me, its from my kid. Both of them started sunday school after church and somehow my youngest started saying God made everything. Its not a question of whether you believe that or not, i told my kid he didn't make everything. So he started arguing with me that he did. So, like the genious that i am, i said, fine, then who made you(he started singing AC/DC then,lol), he said, God, i said, no, me and mom did. Then the big question came out, HOW? i just started at him for about 30 seconds and said, you'll find out when you older, go to bed,lol. this just happend about 10 min ago, i thought it was just too funny.

How old is he Sam? Depending on his age you may or may not be able to explain things to him with the whole when a man loves a woman thing. I would rather my kids learn about those things from me rather then the back of a school bus. That way you know the have the information important for their health and safety and not some distorted version of reality some 4th grader heard from his big brother. I this day an age I think parents have some reponsibility to explain some things to them to protect them from people who can take advantage of their naivity. Of course I have all girls so that's my wife's conversation more than I expect it will be mine.  |

he's only 5, i was going to say go ask your mom but shes sick as a dog so i let it go. the other one is 6 so im not too worried about the older one telling his younger brother what to do, beside i have hbo so they could learn it on there as long as its not shock video or real sex.

I hate to bust your bubble, But your son is right. It was God's will that you and your wife concieved that child. He was there to help plant that seed. I don't claim to know awhole lot about the bible but I know nothing can or can't happen unless it is God's will. but it was so cute to of you to put this in the forums, Bless his little heart. LOL Cero, now he's going to tell all the other kids in Sunday School...haha
That is one of those precious moments that you should write in a book somewhere, then when he gets older you can tell him. I remember when DJ was 4 yrs old and was in the tub, he looked up to me and pointed somewhere and said "You got one of these?" I said "no", he followed by "you want one?" Then he asked a few more questions... I was laughing so hard, I yelled to Dave to come take over bath duties. it's hard to imagine anything not being created by God somehow. Let's just hope that his Sunday school Teacher doesn't brainwash him too much.

Depends on who is delivering the teaching.... like in some religions, some 'teachers' do come across as fanatical-fear mongering; you can see it in a few christian 'student camps' on occasion.
