After 9-11-01 I wanted revenge for the act that were brought to my doorstep.
when we went into afganistan we took control and forced the taliban to the mountians, the people were happy! they flew kites and played music.... happy to be free... we next go to Iraq, we invade and release the captured troops back into the population, and continue the advance... the people didnt fly kites.... the people didnt play music... they DID tear down the statues and celeberate the loss of sadam.... I watch the military channel and I see the towel heads crusing at our troops and wanting them out... tell me WTF are we doing? they dont want us there, they dont want our troops, they are killing our troops, and supporting the enemy! TIME TO PULL OUT!!! I think the war is getting bullshit... someone please bring so more sense this for me... I dont see why we are there, I dont think we should be there.... if the people wanted us there, they would help us out... why we dont just pull out and leave the mess for the terrorists to clean up. we should have just carpet bombed the shit out of them... now I see the Iran process starting... now were gonna lose more troops to a civilization that dont want our help... WTF! all this from a person that really thought that we were doing the right thing... right thing would be a few nukes.... (and for thoose that thought that nukes would ruin our rep? we lost that with gitmo... and the NSA wire taps...) feel free to express your thoughts... kinda did this to start something on the forums... its getting boring... |

I want to say that i am for the war and i always will be. Pres. Bush did exactly what he said he was going to do, he took the war to the Terrorists and thats where the terrorists are. Now the terrorists are fighting the people that are trained to protect this country and not blowing up the people that are trying to build it. Now with that said , i don't know who is getting rich off this war and really don't care. I'm not getting rich and probably never will, but i will still fight for his right to do so and your right to voice your opinon about it. Now i don't know if Sadam was a terrorist or not, i was not in his inner circle, but i do know that he and his followers were very bad people and the world is a safer place now that they are out of power thanks to our brave soldiers. Now the problems in Iraq were not forseen by anyone, and no one can see the future. I am tired of the armchair generals in this country trying to tell everyone what should have happend or what should be happening. The people that know what's going on are the people in the field, it's the people fighting the war, don't cut them short, let them finish the job that they started. Everything will work out in the end, i promise. You can hold me to that!!!!!!!!

Everything will work out in the end, i promise. You can hold me to that!!!!!!!! Sure the terrorists are in Iraq now, but aren't homegrown there. Even Bush and Cheney said they were NOT going after terrorists in Iraq! It was all about the potential for global WMD chaos that was their SOLE reason for going over there... which I said already I agreed with just not how the neo-con baffoons screwed up the good work the troops/Generals had done in psyching out the enemy forces and knifing through to their objective. I disagree about unforseen problems too, Cheney and Rumsfeld were far too smug in equating military success with objective success... it was apparent they miscalculated the required post military infrastructure set-up and being prepared for a potential insurgency especially knowing saddam's fedyeenhad gone underground to stir up civil chaos. The foreign terrorists moved into Iraq full force seeing this blunder by the Whitehouse. It's unforgiveable the troops weren't better equipped as soon as enemy tactics changed to IEDs.... the facts show the Whitehouse dragging their feet for months in not supplying up-armoured equipment to US forces and iraqi policemen! All that while those goons, Cheney and Rumsfeld smirked on camera about how fine and dandy things were going, and even Bush daring the enemy to 'bring it on'!! Come on- isn't that crap! Why blow up the whole Middle-East; most of the folks there are normal people like you and me... generally the majority of Iraqis and Iranians would prefer a free thinking society - have you met them in person... I'm curious... they often mention how they hate their 'leaders' and feel sorry for their families still living there under those regimes. I believe some folks issues are more with the brutal thugs in power and a slaughter of innocents around them is not humane, and even is at the level of the monsters causing strife in the mid.East. However, I'm all for sending a clear statement of unimaginable consequences the moment a clear threat is perceived, enough to make the commonfolk in those countries think about not sitting on the fence while their leaders smugly go about making plans for a global holocaust. Anyway so while you may think I'm too libby, keep in mind it twists my guts thinking about the world powers twiddling their thumbs when they ignore events leading to mass destruction and genocides.. ie, Rwanda, Balkans, , pre WW2-->Czechs/Manchuria/Ethiopia/Alscace-Lorraine to name a few. Why blow up the whole Middle-East; most of the folks there are normal people like you and me... generally the majority of Iraqis and Iranians would prefer a free thinking society - have you met them in person... I'm curious... Its funny you say that. Funny because I used to work shipping and receiving for a corporation, & one day we had a foreign truck driver. When I asked where he was from, he said (almost in a whisper) 'Iraq'. So I asked what brought him here. He said that he & his brother defected from his country as they didn't want to follow the Muslim religion. He told me that they were in college and after that they would be forced into the military. So in the two month lay over between college and military they took off to Germany and then came over here. What astounded me was this guy told me the only solution we as Americans have is to nuke the middle east. He said there are so many militant groups over there that it would be hard to get rid of them all. This coming from the mouth of an Iraqi. To say the least I was shocked he thought we should nuke his country. -------------------- |
