Hi Everyone,
Just started to get back into playing after sometime away and decided to give TF a try. From what I've seen so far it look very impressive. Well done Scarpyard Bob!  The trouble is I keep getting error messages that look like this: http://www.tarkus.f2s.com/Screenshots/TFError.jpg  its driving me mad  I'm running a PowerMac G4 Dual 1.25ghz Processor with 1.25GB Ram. I've upgraded the graphics card to an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb. From an 80GB HD theres 40gb of space still available. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. I cant think of anything else that might be usefull - give me a shout if you need any other info. |

Open ~/Library/Application Support/CoD United Offensive/uo folder and then open the file uoconfig_mp.cfg using TextEdit. Search for the line that begins "seta com_hunkmegs" make sure that it reads "seta com_hunkmegs "512"
Next, in the same directory, open the file hunkusage.dat using TextEdit. Search for any lines that start "maps/mp/mp_uo_tucholaforest" and delete those lines. Now, restart UO and see if you can cavort in the forest error-free. |
