PnkbstrA.exe & PnksrtB.exe
So the latest version doesn't seem to like my new comp. Those two little programs are draining my pc dry of system resources. This takes place with out actually even running COD2. 1. Spikes from 0% to 80% cpu load 2. Loading up virtual memory to two full gigs. I did a little homework only to find that others are suffering from the same issue. Fortunetly I did find the utility to uninstall PB( cleaned the registry as well) and that fixed the problem but once I fire up COD2 and PB reinstalls itself I'm back to where I started. Uninstalling and reinstalling cod2 did not help. Anyone else having this issue or had it? This post has been edited by ScarFace: 05/10/07 9:39pm -------------------- |

Go to the Start Menu, click on Run, then type in services.msc and hit enter. When that opens up, look for the two called PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB. Right click on each one and click on properties. Click the stop button to stop the process, and then change the start-up type from Automatic to Manual.
