Goosedown ban... Options

Was there a discussion in MOB forum about this? Because in the Reg forum we had discussed it a while ago, but the general consensus was that while he did some irritating things, nothing was ban-worthy. MAybe kick worthy, but not total ban worthy.

There was some innuendo that he did something ban worthy, but nothing was ever mentioned in the Regs area.

I would just like some clarification.

Yes, he did. Don't quote me... but something like this:

Shadow was playing and goose continued to switch sides... I don't think he was playing with the name Goose... but I can't say for sure. Anyways after he continued to unbalance the teams and switch he was warned then kicked. He came back on and continued to do so. Hense he was kicked again. He did this a number of times and Steel was watching in spec. After Goose came back and said some choice words about Shadow and Goose was banned by Steel. Steel had also put in a comment to Goose prior to banning that he had to switch back to the other side as he was creating an imbalance to the teams.

He totally ignored her comment and she eventually banned him.

Well Goose continued to come in with different guids... several for that matter and they were banned as well. It was obvious that Goose has no intention of following the server rules and made it a point to unbalance the teams. He had no intention on following any of MOB's policies or procedures and ruined an entire game for several people.

Now, none of his accounts are banned in our forums, but it's a little ironic how he decided to create a whole new account with a dynamic IP and to come in here and post. Yes, this is the same person who never had the time of day to tell people why they were banned or respond to their posts when he was in MOB.

I backed Steel's ban 100%, and it's unfortunate that Shadow has been very busy and unable to play lately and Goose can come in and ruin his little time to play.

OK, I appreciate the explanation. The way it was left on the forum, it seemed he was never even kicked for team switching, so I was concerned we had gone from one extreme (no punishement) to ban in one step.

It is a shame. This guy bleed MOB for a while. But his temper and stubborness really got the best of him. If we were to go back a year, this whole situation would have been considered impossible.

A sad end.

As a public player on our servers you break into our server area and continually crashed our server. You should have been banned then, but no MOB gives you another chance. Oh, by the way... not everyone in MOB or the Regs was aware of this. But now they are!!!!!

My question is how did he do this? My second question is, why did this not reult in immediate ban? He was crashing our server intentionally and we had proof? I can't imagine a more automatically ban-worthy behavior.
