Barbarossa 24/7 server with Modern Weapons, ... Version 2.0, please give it a try Options

Temporarily, as an experiment, the {MOB} Barbarossa 24 x 7 server is now {MOB} Modern Weapons Barbarossa.

I've made the modern weapons mod for this server a completely different beast, based upon the feedback everyone gave. Thanks for your feedback.

1. The gun selection has been reduced.
2. The Dragunov sniper is semi-auto only (fires one shot at a time), it has no automatic mode.
3. No RPG-7's, just plain bazookas and panzershreks, so tanks can once again own the map, lol.

Also, there is no super-fast sprinting, no satchel charges, no trip-wires.

With this greatly reduced mod, the server can run back-to-back Barbarossa, 24 x7.

If you like it, it stays this way. If you don't like it, I'll put it back to stock weapons.

There's always the Barb practice server that can be fired-up when anyone wants to play Barb with stock weapons. Yeah?

Whenever I play on a server with stock sprinting after playing with the Steel Super Sprint®, I always feel like I'm totally out of shape. It's like putting on 20 pounds (9 Kg for you foreigners), eating a turky dinner with mashed potatos and stuffing and then smoking a pack of unfiltered cigarettes before heading out to battle. LOL

It is the biggest complaint. I wouldn't mind if sprinting was tweaked so you could sprint for longer stretches, sort of a cross between stock sprint, and Steel Super Sprint®. However, I realize a tweak like that might not be possible. Personally, I don't mind it, and the lower speeds mean that the usage of jeeps actually has meaning, and even BT-7's get you where you're going faster, but when I play a stock map with people used to playing the MW server, the complaint about speed is always the same. They'd get used to it of course, but it'd take a few days of playing without Super Sprint before it doesn't seem that bad!
