I would love to see the press do their job on every government official -senators reps and all the way down ,strip clubs ,hookers ,drugs, and their fucked up kids. Seriously.am i the only one that notices our press does their job ONLY around election time?

I think the main issue is regarding how far can the media exploit Ayers over and over and over and nothing of it sticks with any significance to Obama.
On the otherhand, the McCain campaign are revelling in a cavalcade/circus [internal campaign/Party problems] and a huge assortment of controversies and screw-ups ... this is what the media can feast on.... to say they are siding seems a bit too simple as to the reality. Why doesn't the media exploit Socialist Governor Palin's spreading the wealth [her words too] of Oil company profit's in Alaska to the tune of $3269 per Alaskan..... why isn't that an issue that's made into headlines to counter the McCain's current griping that Obama is a socialist. A few weeks before she was nominated for Vice-President, she told a visiting journalist—Philip Gourevitch, of the New Yorker, "we're set up, unlike other states in the union, where it's collectively Alaskans own the resources. Furthermore they haven't smeared her with her and her husband's relationship to the Alaskan Independance Party - seccessionists in waiting? much like Quebec seperatists waiting for the right time..... Sorry I've been away for so long. I'm not quite sure what happened. I've been very busy, etc.
Anyway, I've been busy on a different forum debating politics when this morning I said to myself, "Oh, Jeebuz! I'm missing all the hot political debate action over at mobclan!" Luckily I see Hell and Hamm are doing a fine job keeping it real. I'm running into the classic right wing tactic of ask a question/make an accusation - answer question/counter allegation - ignore answer and counter allegation/demand to know truth cycle on the other forum. It's fun. Why won't McCain release his full service record or his medical records? What's he hiding?!!!?! \ I demand the truth!!!  --------------------   |
