Hello, Friends

I've been playing a lot of multiplayer CoD... sigh... and I'm just not doing very well at it. I seem to get maybe one or two kills for every ten deaths. Or sometimes worse. ugh.

I play Team DM... and today it really dawned on me how horribly I handicap whatever team I'm on. It's hard to win when you spot the other guy 8 or 10 points right off the bat. Do servers ever kick you for sucking, btw?

Is there a map that's better as a learning map? What should I do? Take up Shuffleboard? But it's getting rather tedious.

Any suggestions? (Be kind!)

Good suggestions, and thank you... I've been trying them.

I play Team DM, too... not that I do well, but it's encouraging to see some team mates.

What's a good basic Newbie setup? Some maps and weapons are harder to master than others... but what's a good way for me (and apparently a few others) to get a handle on this? Can you suggest:

1) Simple map
2) Simple weapon
3) Simple game style? (Assuming TDM, but... I dunno, really!)
4) Simple plan

All I want is to get a few kills... if I could finish up a game with 3 or 4 kills, I'd feel pretty good for the night.

I also like the team markers ON and the friendly fire OFF. (is that a decent Newbie approach?) I also like 'no sniper rifles'... but I know that those were a real part of the historical conflict... sigh.

Any more advice? I'm trying to get good enough so that it's 'fun'... and I don't start flinching just logging on.
