I don't think that'll be a problem, unless Thornton picks it up a bit.... dntknw.gif

I don't think it really matters what Thornton does the rest of the year, Jagr has been exceptional lately. I really hope he continues this kind of play into the playoffs.

I might be wrong, but I thought the Richard trophy was for most goals, not most points.

ah yes, here we go... Maurice Richard Trophy

Now Jagr has a great shot to win the Art Ross Trophy as well. smile.gif

Jagr will get the Maurice Richard no doubts, and unless a miracle happens, he'll get the Art Ross aswell. Also, if you look at the previous winners of the Art Ross, the Caps really did make Jagr suck, cause he won the Art Ross 4 years in a row, then got traded, sucked out loud for a few years, and now hes back.

I will smash your face into a car windshield, and then take your mother Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.

I can half agree with that... his first two seasons w/the Caps were good. Then he went downhill. In an interview this season, he attributes playing in Europe during the lockout for his rejuvenation.

2001-02 WAS (G)31 (A)48 (P)79

2002-03 WAS (G)36 (A)41 (P)77

Here's the LINK if you want to see his previous stats and compare. I would say his average season was hovering around the 30 goal area.

Anyone like the band Hanson Brothers? Basically it's No Means No, but they play hockey songs and dress like the Hanson's from Slapshot while they play like the Ramones. It's awesome but I lost all my cds from yesteryear, anyone have them? I'm desperetely trying to download some but not alot of seeds out there to download from.
