WOW, I cant believe what a cheater Rogers is. Have you guys seen espn.com? They even looked back a couple games and reviewed the film and seen that in his last 2 starts you can see the pine tar on the same exact spot. What a cheater!!!!!!!!!!!! Ban him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You dont know guys. That camera zoomed in far. It might not as been as noticable to him. Does it matter really. After that he still pithed 7 scoreless innings. Had he picthed different then that totally different. LaRussa didnt say anything b.c he didnt want to make a big deal out of something small. There are plenty instances were people cheat like that. Sneaking something to help pitch has been in the game for a long long time. I have no problem with what he did and im a cards fan.

COULD, COULD it possibly have just been dirt? I only saw a picture of his hand for about 1 second on the news, but i thought it could just be dirt. There is also another explanation, the other players used all the toilet paper...hmmm, think of that? I'm gonna go see if barb looks fun enough to play...

I know this is a little late but.... of cousre he's cheating.... but the question is not is he using pine tar. It's how does someone go from struggling to throw 87 when they are 38-39 throw 93 when they are 41. That's what I want to know about. that is the regualr seaon, and all that matters is that we got ot the postseason and then we started to pull it together and play better. sorry the mets lost, but not really.
