Hi Steel!

Is it possible to have 2 MW BAS servers with ver. 7 on both. One the way it is now with the new maps and turn the Barb 24/7 into a MW BAS Barb+ server with Italy or Kursk or whatever in addition.

No Barb at all is really sad...... sad.gif

I think some folks are confused. We have:

Modern Weapons TDM - running a bunch of custom maps. Been running for over 2 years now, still going strong.

Modern Weapons BAS - running a bunch of custom maps. It's still there up and running.

And I temporarily put modern weapons on the empty Barb server and made it Modern Weapons Barbarossa, with a specially tailored scaled back version of my weapons mod and etc, the exact changes everyone had been griping at me to make for months. The server did increase from zero players to 6-8 per night, but this simply isn't a good fit for most {MOB} hard-core Barbarossa players. The only way to get even more players is if I souped it up even more, which would piss off the {MOB} hard core Barb players even more.. a lose-lose situation for everyone. So, I put it back to Barbarossa 24x7 with stock weapons.

Your right. I just love the map. I am ok with the BAS server that changes maps, I just miss barb. Hopefully someday we will have barb again with Modern Weapons. Without constantly having people asking for all kinds of tweaks. It was fine when Steel first put it up. No changes were necessary. Oh well.

Yeah, but it's nice to have a bit of a change. I'm just as much of a Barb-junkie as the next guy, but I've enjoyed these new maps Steel has put up... unfortunately Barb causes all sorts of conflicts if it were added to the rotation.

Can we change the current Old Barb that no one plays on to a Barb / Italy with Steels original mod on it? That is what made the server so popular in the begining. I just really miss playing barb with the modern weapons mod also.
