why would we invade? WTF does cuba or their lil buddy veni have shit to do with us? are they sad cuz we left them out of the WOT? blink.gif

hell i dont even consider them a threat, not even during the cuban missile crisis, it was still russia using cuba as an idiot, or a distraction.

like giving a retard a pistol and pushing him out in front of our army.

You didn't consider 15 ICBM's parked just a few miles off the Florida keys a threat? Your Cavalier attitude towards this shows your ignorance. Let me ask you this. Did you consider alkida a threat before 911? These guys are associating with countries like China and North Korea and trust me, we do not want any part of China.

Not considering that it was Russia's involvement that put them there... and seeing as it would take 15 min to wipe them off the face of the earth. 15 ICBM would do damage but not catastrophic. Millions lost is sad but not the end of Western civilation. Yes I considered Osama a threat Al Qaeda (that what you meant?) I also consider china and India a threat. More economic then military. I think you posting the way you have is more trying to insult me rather then actually discuss this topic. sad part is my "Cavalier" attitude is more or less a solid Ideal the the Gov has. Colleteral damage is a part war, terror is a part of war, underground warfare has been a part of war for thousands of years. You seem more blinded by the fact we were hit on 9-11-01, like it came as a shock... I perfer Brittish response (public and Parliment) to the hostile muslim clerics. My ignorance has/is preparing for the worst. Buffing up on urban combat, survival supplies, and other such thing incase I happen to survive a chemical of nuclear attack. A sad part of reality........

I personally consider China to be a military threat just as much as I do an economic one.

Billion people is alot. They still lack in technology and are still a little behind the times. (on a civilian basis..) no doubt in time they will be THE super power. I really think there economic boom will be short lived, every country is tired of the cheap labor and will stat to impose taxes on them. India is falling shot in the glass MFG because china is picking it up... soon enough the world will cut the string, and their economic base will crumble.

China and India are nulcear superpowers, and that's all they need. They are not to be taken lightly, nor will they crumble economically anytime soon. Anybody read Friedman's new book The World Is Flat? I would read it before making any assumptions about the nature of the world to come, it's very informative.

I will but I really think with all the union talk and media coverage on china's buyout of american companies I expect the gov. to attempt to equal out the trade between the two countries. Inda is also on the bitch fest over the loss of its glass industry... with trade embargos and tariffs, I dont see them Leaping ahead. but this is all based on hope... which dont mean shit. but there is a vast divide between classes in china. with one going so far ahead of the other, history shows that system dont work well. But who knows, no one predicted russia and east germany falling either. like i said no one can predict the future I just hope for the best w/o suger coating it.

By the year 2010, China's Navy willl be 5 times the size of ours and they have a jet that outperforms anything we currently have. Their population has averaged about 9% growth a year for the past 25 years so their current 1.5 billion will be 3 billion around 2014. I personally view them as a threat.

really? I would like to read up on that but a quick google search did get any good hits? (where did you get that from?) I thought the stealth F-22 was currently the shit. But if we released the F-22 we have something else sitting around..... I hope china dont act like a fool and we get going like the cold war.

They are purchasing Vector driven Sukhoi's from Russia. I had a video that showed one of them in action (quite impressive). I will see if I can dig it up and post a link.
