the reason they're not looking into alternative energy sources is because the tycoons are going to suck every last penny that they can out of oil before going on to a different energy source. simple as that. they are only worried about THEMSELVES and THEIR fuckin money... which is fuckin gay.

Nova, a canadian gallon must be different than a U.S. gallon. It's only 3.76L per gallon here.

The sad thing about all this is that when you burn any sort of pertroleum fuel to make your car go, you only extract 30% of the energy of the gas. Yes, you heard right. As a fuel, it's only about 30% efficient. The rest of the energy is all given off as heat. Thermodynamically, that's about the best you can get with petroleum. From a scientific perspective, using that as a fuel source is, well, stupid to say the least, but the reaon it hasn't been changed is a combination of the oil tycoons' greediness and just general lazyness in the sense that no one really wants to exert all the effort to actually implement a new energy source for vehicles....

drovee to the gas station and they were upping the price (gas station is at the corner of my block. to 3.55 a gal. drove to the supermarket to get gas there (cheaper) 3.55 a gal and they were (while i was pumping) upping to 3.70 a gal. went inside (for 30 min buying dinner) drove back by the corner gas station 3.99 a gal. it will by estimate be 7.50+ sunday and according to the gas stations there isnt enough gas comming to supply the ESB. we will be out of gas by the mid week and wont have any till a week or 2.

I really cant afford this... I can bet money that with the stop of petro trucks acant make del. no food. no police+fire. (long term worst case) IM GOING TO THE GUN STORE AND UP'N THE AMMO....

5 rounds for the shotgun
50 98k
1500 .22

need more 8mm
we have deer in the area and stuff...

Looks like things have actually gotten better. Prices here went down from 3.60 to 2.99, and we haven't had any stations run out of fuel. Don't be too skeptical now....
