Man, I stayed up til 2:30am watching the 4 overtimes in the Dallas/Vancouver game! Dadgum Sedin turned my hours of watching into wasted time since I could have been sleeping!
Right now there are less than 3 minutes left in game 2 and Turco is holding onto a shutout. My hopes are up, but Luongo makes me nervous for this series; as Shifty mentioned, he's on fire. I was dissapointed w/last night's game. I thought the Wings did follow through well on their checks though. The one bad pass by Lidstrom all season and it goes for a goal. I liked Cleary's hit on Phaneuf.
How about them Rangers?!? Holy crap, totally had them pegged differently. I thought ATL would walk over them in 4 or 5 games. Not only could they sweep, but with fashion... 7-0 last night. The Vancouver vs Dallas series have been my favorite so far... very physical and evenly matched. --------------------  |

I think the Vancouver and Dallas games are so intense because they both have excellent defense. I think that out of all the teams they have the best Defense in the entire league.

That Calgary/Detriot game was intense there at the end. The only reason I know is because Versus decided to show that game while we were watching the Dallas game.

Hell yeah, the 3rd period... the whole 3rd period of the Wings/Flames game was really intense. It was like I was watching them at a new speed or something. Everyone was skating super fast and it was very physical. Heading back to Detroit for a Wing's win!
I felt bad for Luongo... 0-0 game and to let a shot hit you and then drop in... .just kinda sucks. Very good game and probably the best series so far. -------------------- |

Go Wings... they have to get it. After yesterday's OT loss, I'm fearful. I don't want Pronger going to the Finals two years in a row w/two different teams. He's good, but he plays really dirty and goonish at times... I don't like that.
