Can songs be extracted from itunes into mp3 format? like the songs you buy on itunes

well
for instance, you BUY a song from the itunes music store- lagniappe (a cd released by saddle creek) was only released on itunes, so i want to extract the file- its in mp4 format. the format says (mpeg 4 protected) This post has been edited by The_redeemer: 09/25/05 2:01pm -------------------- |

no you cant the thing with Itunes its mp3 player only. the new Ipods will only work with Itunes. the new nano wont work with windows media player

i wasn't refering to ipods, just itunes
anyways i figured it out, if you want to extract a song, burn a bunch of downloaded songs onto a cd, and then take them to another comp and load it up with windows media- and rip them and it comes out as mp3 -------------------- |
