I have done this on a total of 4 computers now with no problems


what stay's in main
-create new folder named old main files
move all files but these to that folder

sound

pak3
pak4
pak5
pak6

What should stay in mainta
-create new folder named old mainta files
move all files but these to that folder

configs
maps
music
save
sound
video
cgamex86
custom.cfg
ffa.cfg
gamex86
localize.cfg
newconfig.cfg
objective.cfg
pak1
pak2
pak3
pak4
pak5
round.cfg
team.cfg
tow.cfg

Move the newly created folders (old main files and old mainta files) to a safer spot eg. desktop, or my documents

Make sure you have
Installed mohaa 1.11
installed mohsh 2.11
installed mohsh 2.15
crack as normal for those of us that use no cd
right click on shortcut on desktop
>properties
>where it say's "target" replace with

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\moh_spearhead.exe" +set cl_playintro 0

this last step may very depending on your target, best idea is to just add
+set cl_playintro 0
to the end... please note the space before the + sign

install new map packs

this worked for me and 3 others
The reason that I moved everything to other folders was so I still had them, rather than deleting them.

To all: Most if not all of you have not been around from the beginning of MOB #2 so you will not appreciate the way i run the server. Last week, my server was busy almost 24 hours a day and is one of the most popular Spearhead servers around. The reason for this is that I had the determination to stick with it almost a year ago. That is when I first decided that I would run a server with user made maps. When I put the first map on the server would go from full (on an old map) to empty on a new map and I would spend 15 minutes by myself looking at the screen while people kept trying to get in over and over. Over time.... several months and a lot of work and personal helping slowly people began to get the map packs and start getting on the server. Over the months BECAUSE we stuck with it people started flooding to the server and becoming regulars. Now you guys don't come there brcause you like me, you come there because the server is doing things that you don't get on other servers.
Now we are at another of those crossroads moments and though it is very frustrating for some of you, when the smoke clears MOB 2 will be a Spearhead server that has no equal. As of now, we are offering to the public a server with a ciustom weapons mod, 20 plus user made maps and new packs coming again soon on a regular basis, AND a server that is running sv_pure as well as CI cheat protection which means that server is one of the most cheat free servers on the internet. Is it going to be a painfull month or 2? yes. Is it worth it? yes.
Finally let me say that I have yet to find anyone who can nto get on when everything is working as stated so the decision to keep trying or not is up to you. I would hate to lose any of you as regulars and I am trying all I can to help as many as I can, as fast as I can btu with all due respect there will be no turning back on this and pure is here to stay on server 2.

Nope, I haven't been able to get on the server since the mod went on. If I try I get listed as connected in Gamespy or on the server stats but really Im not on. You can tell because the ping shows 999.
Eventually the server clears the connection to ? and then totally removes it.

FK I know what you mean , I do remember running around plenty of maps with no other players. But in this case I will have to consider myself a casualty of war, well and truly fragged!

Thanks FK Im in the reg cleaner worked great , that is what it was .. its still booting me on some maps so im gonna re load them again but i did get in thanks again... kill you later lol ....... WarHorse

What entries in the registry caused you a problem ?

svoller the entries just wernt deleting like they should so Fk sent me a reg cleaner just to deleat them from there and that did the trick .. dont know why they wouldnt deleat but i do have 2 hard drives and i think that was part of the problems

You arn't loosing this player! I appreciate all your work FK (and the entire MOB Clan), and I'm simply in withdrawl...not frustrated with anyone. I'm sure this will get squared-away, and the games will continue even better than before. I miss getting owned by most of you! Hope to see you all on the server again shortly.

Hi ya FK!! I can get on ..I just have to reinstall the two upgrades everytime...LMAO!!! The 2.11 and the 2.15. When I load'em up before I enter the game it lets me in...welll...most of the time..hehehe. I suppose it just isnt keeping the install for some odd reason, but I'm in there 'skipper'.....

Try unistalling and reinstalling the entire game.....Allied Assault and SH.

I had some problems at first and then I unistalled everything completely, and then reinstalled the game, patches, and FK's map packs 1,2 & 11.......then fix your desktop shortcut with the extension FK gives.......and then it should work.

You might have some dumb little thing wrong that you can't figure out.....so I just started over.

Try installing the patches 2.11 and 2.15 before you go into play. Works for me. If I dont i wont be able to get in either. Mine won't stay installed...LMAO!!!
