Several MOB along with some of our regulars have talked about running some new maps. The plan right now is to do this on a server setup just for new maps and probably only on the weekends.
The big question is if there will be enough support to make it worthwhile.
So the question is, who would be interested and what maps would you like to play.


For the map suggestions, keep in mind the number of players ( 16- 20 ),
If you want to suggest a map, please supply a link to where it can be downloaded.
Don't suggest a map and tell us it can be download at alliedassault.com. replies like that will only be ignored.
If you want to play the map give us the actual link to it.

Well any new maps for me is good. I can't wait to play em.
Im just tottaly bored of the same 5 maps... the good old time is comming back!

Is there anyway you can take the two new maps off of breakthrough and play them on MOHAA? Those two would be a good addition.

I'd also like to revisit an earlier suggestion -

Turning FRIENDLY FIRE on every once in a while
will make the MOHAA (using existing maps) more
fun by adding some variety.

A TEAM KILL counter with FF ON will help keep the LOSERS away.

Bad News:
FileFront seems to be down and there is no telling when it will be back up.

Good News:
I have copies of almost all the maps on my computer, 183 to be exact.
Now I just need to find which ones are which.
A lot of the pk3's are not named after the map, so if you know the name of the pk3, please post it. This will make it easier to find the spefic map.

oh well we can get good maps from fk map packs for a first time. then we can go for others maps...

Hey Druid, How about some maps with different weather. There are a few with rain on and off, and even some of the winter ones are nice, maybe not the original, but there were some others created. This well hamper the ones like Cypher with that 30 inch monitor , but the big monitor boys will get use to the weather, just wear a hat and raincoat.

P.S. WW2 was fought in all kinds of weather, why does it always have to be a nice day. Any Russian front maps with snow hanging around?

I beleive there's a map that's supposed to be fairly good actually called russia. Just for god's sake NO snowy park!

i like snowy. it isnt that bad. better than fuckin crossroads cheap ass everyone is a fucking sniper bullshit.

I would like to suggest " stalingrad_snow " as a very neat winter map. Although it is called Stalingrad it does not resemble the stalingrad map. Interesting features in this map is the ice below is breakable, and water is freezing cold deadly if your in too long. Also some of the boards and the bridge above can be blown out, but still of some use. You can access some of the top sections, there is sufficent cover, but some nice areas of fire. Benifit also is I tested it and it doesnt lag, plus it is a fair size. With the snow falling and some mist adds effect of the real seige of Stalingrad back in 1944. Thumbs up I like it. I would like to know other views guys. At least one weather map would be nice.

Map can be downloaded here, open your Programs folder, EA Games and slide the PK folder into the main folder of your MOH folder.

Check out the game maps for this site. Another interesting map for Staligrad (no snow is " Stalingrad2full " which is a larger version of the original map, you can access roofs etc.

Druid, let me know what you think of " stalingrad_snow " I think its a nice setup for 16-24 people

Yipes, forgot to type the link above, sorry I've recently had after effects to the brain from cold beers bashing.

Kirby I'm more than happy to try anything.
I was very surprised to see how few new maps have been released in the last 6 months. I assumed there would be big improvements made but it doesn't appear that way.

We are going to try and get this setup and going on a 3rd server starting next weekend.

I think the improvements will show up once the new released for Medal of Honor appears. A few of us combat guys tried several maps over the weekend. I would suggest looking at:

" mission_afrika " - reminds you a bit of Algiers, but more constricted, lots of cover, and overall nice setup for a map, sewer system, and also it is bright, so its not hard on the eye's like some of the darker maps. Whoever put this out did a nice job, and It looks like it will handle the 20 players no problem.

" thechurch_final "- another well done map, more open, streets, a nice fighting layout, and well put together. We all liked it.

" Stalingrad Snow map " I mentioned this above. It is simular to Stalingrad but not the same. Well done map also.

I can check and suggest others if you like but definately look at these, they are all in the link above.

Kirby anytime you want to do a one on one in any of the maps let me know.this way we could hunt each other and learn any of the maps.we could take turns running them from our own machines.Did it with JP with a map called Aftermath.We had a good time so let me know.Also any one else want a 1 on 1 lets do it any map

Sound's good, if you would like to try any of the maps for example I listed above let me know. You can check them out and let me know what you think. I can email you the PK files, or you can just download them above in the MOH maps link.

Just a quick note... The best map I've seen so far for Allied was made awhile ago called " Thecanal-fixed " It is likely too big for gameplay however, but whoever did that baby it was a labor of love. there is even working elevators in it. I remember first going in and I was in awe... so check it out guys. It is in the above link MOH files in my previous post. You would like it old man, you would not even have to walk the stairs


P.S. Does anyone recall a large map of 2 factorys side by side with large pipes in the air connecting? That was a awesome map, but I think it was made for spearhead.

the map is tractor works and its too big for 20 ppl it needs like 30 or more

Some very nice maps there. Just wanted to mention though Druid and Nixon, Bastogne99 is very large map, outside of being close to the server players such as myself, and any others that live quite a distance as Casino will find this one likely laggy because of its size. It's too bad because it is a great map. I know some regulars will be kicked for high pings on this. I tested it with a few players. May I offer a replacement suggestion below. " venlassene "

Map "venlassene" is well put together, not too big, but a nice unusual layout. One side contains a european style village with access to the homes, and outside the gates over the moat a attack ground with some buildings and a bridge. We tested it yesterday and it runs nice. Check it out, I think it will make a good edition to your list.

Go to the left: Medal of Honor Allied Assault, click on Maps, on the next page click on MULTIPLAYER MAPS, then click on ALL OTHER GAME TYPES (you will see a list of maps appear), then go to page 2 (next 24), and you will see it at the bottom of the page. Click to download. Open your C drive programs foulder, go to EAGAMES, open the main folder and open your download and slide the PK file of the map into your main files. Then you can go into your regular game "Team Play" to view the map and check it out.

Come on! :fing I encourage more people to respond to Druids call and check out and submit maps they find interesting. Several players and myself picked these map out over 10 others we looked at for size that will not lag others living a fair distance from the MOB server. I tested it with some players over 3000 miles where I live and it runs nice.

I already removed the Bastogne99 map from the list do to size and probable lag issues.
I'll keep the new one in mind.
