They don't teach Brooklynese or the gutteral speech that people from the bronx speak (sorry mom). I have nothing against it being taught in say a linguistics class. It is a legitimate dialect, unlike the accents that I gave as examples above. But you don't teach a dialect in school. You teach the standard language.

Khemist, that particular post I made was in a joking manner, I was going with the tone of the previous posts. Atima, you don't need to give a fuck, you need to go to school and stop fighting a losing battle. Harry, I was not walking all over him, I was responding to his posts in a way I saw fit.
