folks i have to say that all of the time ive played your server i have really enjoyed it. our league plays them, mainly uo cassino. ive never had any problems. lord lipton and i have a blast. however dolphin girl and ice cold threatend to kick me because of something i said right off the bat without asking any questions. we talk trash on the cassino server and all have fun until tonight. i said bitch in joking manner to whoever shot me and dolphin girl reacted in a way that is unprofessional at best. ive thought about joining your clan but now have second thoughts. our league donates money to you because you are just about all we play. i just dont know if we will anymore after this. some of these clan members take the {mob} tag a little serious and get on a power trip. this seems to contradict what some of your codes of conduct say. maybe i read them wrong but then again maybe not. just venting and letting you know what went on.

I played last night when this happened and he called me a bbbbeeeeeaaaaattttttcccccchhhhhh. I think it was like that. I didnt take it offensive. I take other comments more offensive than that. Such as when someone accuses me of cheating. I hate that. I do think Ice cold did not need to say one more and he would be banned. Just warn him and tell him to stop. I play often on my lunch breaks on your Cassino server and I run into FireDawg, Lipton, and a few other regulars a lot. I see a lot of people that know each other joking around alot and on occasion I've been called "bitch" among other things. I personally have taken it as a compliment but I can see how it can be taken the other way, especially from a female perspective such as DolphinGirl's.

I have nothing but respect for your clan/team as I've expected the same from players on my team's servers so I personally have never used language such as that on the server due to the fact that lunch corresponds with alot kids not at school playing. I've cursed Lipton outloud, lol, when he gets a great shot on me, but doubt I've ever typed it out... I usually suck it up and say "n1" or "damn":D . Anyway, I'm falling off subject. Like I said above, I've played with FireDawg alot and could say he's a good and clean player, I'm sure he only meant the comment as a compliment. I do think he was a bit fast to mention the stoppage of donations, but I guess that's a bluff maybe?

I hope I don't start getting hated, but like Lord Lipton, I back up Firedawg on this. He's a good person - played with him lots here and elsewhere. I don't think he should undergo ban intimidation for such slang. Throwing about the 'ban' loosely isn't conduct becoming imho. I have to say DG, the 'juicy' taunt binds you use when you go on a nice spawn rampage gets off with little response normally compared to guys going on such sprees and even not using taunts. For example last night Real Deal was employing some brutal long range arty on the enemy inciting one guy to respond with colourful gutter trash replies,lol.... to which Real Deal used his 'let me call you a waambulence' bind rather than flex admin. muscle which in this case I wouldn't have blamed him for using. Respectfully, in cases of taunting and ribbing / replies to such, especially if you dish it out, you should learn to take it too.
The 'c--t' insult is another matter altogether which indeed falls under disrepectful to a clanmember.... hmmm, even a guy should feel insulted by that, lol- I've been called that too- go figure!

It was apparent from the chat this was a misunderstanding.
DG & Ice 1st took it as an insult & warned the player not to continue doing it,
Which is exactly what they should of done.
The whole reason we give warns is so a player will have the chance to change what they are going or
as in this example, so no one would get kicked over a misunderstanding.

Ok i'm belabouring this, but I think rash /'loose' ban intimidation is something to be wary of. I see on the whole MOBs'ters rolling with most non-heavy handed pokes with appropriate coolness under fire. A better response would be 'what do you mean by that?'. Remember spawn ownage which DG does very skillfully will incite unflattering comments and the ownag-er should be aware they are going to get some wrath [especially with those bubbly taunt binds ]and not be surprised - like the example I mentioned with RD in my previous post. Knowing Firedawg, I'll assume he made that initial response out of being flustered momentarily at the ban comment, rather than a taking a true attack posture.

Judging by this, I would have to say that in no way would any female consider being called a bitch an expression of any sort other than disrespect on your part or an intolerance for females who are on par with you in any aspect of life. You can sit here and try to justify Firedawg's actions or anyone else who plays in the servers, but the fact remains DG felt disrespected (as would have I) and she called him on it. Nevertheless it was uncalled for and the MOB members have told you this more than once. If you said it to me in the TLD servers you would have received the same results, so try thinking before you speak next time, because not everyone shares your sense of humor.

5) I'm not brow beating DG and hope she won't take my intrusion here as such, the first time I played with her [if she remembers] we were engaged in blowing up a base which I could've finished off myself cheesily but knowing she hammered it mostly by herself I told her to do it and then even though I was closer to plant the bomb I requested she do it and get all the points since she did all the work.
6) I don't agree with you on treating female warriors playing here like timid wallflowers that can't stand up for themselves- I fully expect MOB to stand up for team members being dissed, I myself was standing up for a CoD chum -who like I said plays on Cassino more and therefore DG and Firedawg aren't too familiar with each other. Firedawg I know meant no insult [they clarified it themselves], but was jovially street-trashing a fellow warrior upon being spawn-owned rather than attempting to belittle DG. The ladies here are gritty players like the guys and anyone demeaning them otherwise will incur my wrath immediately, and I myself like most here look at them as fellow warriors rather than girls playing CoD.
7) Personally I rant and rave as good natured as I can do it but never curse at others in any situation.... I don't have any probs with others doing it to me- I just mock them the next time I kill them. Also take into consideration, when you are on a spawn rampage/or bashing> - unflattering comments will fly about - so don't be very surprised!

So please after all my blabbering I hope you realise my only issue revolves around the 'bitch' word which I've seen some ladies take that term not personally the same way a guy would when they are called 'fag' or 'cock sucker' - even with players they don't know. Sorry Isis but I never hear guys asking for an apology/'sorry' or giving one over the term fag or cocksucker. In that context is it a reason to make a 'ban'-warning. I think the point we getting to is that right after he said it i warned hime and he said it was a joke. So i said ok. I have only banned 1 person in my time here at mob. no more that a few hours later i had that person unbanned. Just a fare warning if I see any gender bashing(B***H,C***, ect.) or racist name you get kicked after a warning but if you dont cool it I WILL BAN YOU. NOW Real or Druid please lock this topic
