I strongly suggest you recheck the ip he posted under to mine. Malevolence is my brother and he lives in Atlanta. I was there recently and played on your server at his home. I've never had a problem with any of you and I still don't. If you choose not to believe me that's your choice.

And if you still need more proof look at the IP for Myrtle the Turtle. That's the alias I use to play on your server. You'll see the difference. And seeing how my brother lives in Atlanta and I live in Wilmington, NC, it wouldn't make sense for me to be able to post there and play here would it?

And you need to take your own advice. This is a simple misunderstanding and it's getting blown way out of proportion.

I don't know the history of what happened between MOB and TLD. Obviously there was some history there from long before I was ever recruited. I can't speak for all my teammates, only myself.

I've NEVER had a problem with anyone. Never had a bad word to say about anybody in MOB. I don't harbor secret resentment that I would go so far as to cower behind an assumed name to post about. I would never say anything about MOB or their current recruiting policy because this is their clan and what they do and how they do it is no longer my concern. I've always had a deep respect for Real and Druid as they are names that go back a long way for me when I first came in their server and encountered some of the best players I've ever had the privilege to play with. Druid, especially, who always took the time to answer every question I had when I had a problem with the site.

Mal's post only seems like an insult because you think it's from me. But it's not. It's just his opinion. Because he's my brother doesn't necessarily mean his opinion is mine as well.

Like I said, I don't know the history and honestly I don't care to know. What happened between whoever and whoever is their business. I have my opinions about MOB and they'll always remain the same. I hope we can clear this up when Druid returns.

Personally, looking past the identification confusion (I now understand why Druid and RealDeal reacted that way), and after reviewing my first post, I really can't find anything disgusting, insulting or disrespectful about it, unless you take my words and twist them out of proportion.

I still think it's better to be vocal and to voice out opinions. Thats what prompted my original post because MOB had built up such an influential image in MOHAA, when I heard about all this it impacted me deeply, even a regular, average, quiet player as myself.

I won't make the same mistake, next time I have an opinion about something here, I'll keep it to myself. I just didn't think anything I wrote would have any kind of impact, considering I've never spoken more than 2-3 sentences on the server to any MOB player.

I wish I could of replied earlier but as RD mentioned I'm away until late.
When I 1st saw the post, I happen to be on the server machine and checked the IP against the player log. The 1st Player that came up with that IP was TLD Aggression.
Even then my 1st thought was a smurf trying to cause problems.
Although I could see that post from some people, as little as I know you I considered it to be out of character. The next step was to check the IP against your post here. The last Aggression post here was in the private forum and on the same IP, so there went the smurf theroy as no one but you could of posted in the private forum on that IP.
So I jumped to conclusions, but I'm sure you'll agree it was a very small jump.
I didn't check one thing but two before I ever said a word.

Druid, I understand how this mix up happened. My final post in the private forums was in Atlanta at my brother's place. And yes, I agree it was a small jump and I appreciate you second guessing what was in front of you. However, I wish you would have PM'd me first before this turned into a public flame fest.

I have always respected you, Druid, and I always will. You've always worked so hard to answer any questions anyone has ever had about the server and the site. But I lost a lot of respect for RealDeal today because. based on his behavior on this thread, he was obviously waiting to publicly bash us as soon as the opportunity arose. Like I said, I don't know or care what happened between all of you in the past and whatever you may think, we (TLD and especially me) are not out to get you.

Aggression, you have to agree, based on what it looked like, it would have been a tasteless thing to do.

With that said, it's funny that your brother logs onto the forums for the first time, makes his first post and forgets to mention the relationship, which could explain his bias nature or mabye not. We will never know.

RealDeal, yes he fails to mention the relationship and he had a good reason for it. It's because he didn't want his relationship to me to elicit preferential treatment from TLD. But thanks to this little incident this information was forced out into the open.

The last thing I will say here is that I'm very disappointed on how both of you responded at the end when this was cleared up. My brother and I were completely mistreated here and while it was a misunderstanding, it was nevertheless, your mistake and no apology or even a hint of one from either of you.

With that said, I wish you the best of luck in the future. Diesel was an excellent addition and I've always liked Shifty as he well knows (you've improved so much since we first met!). I'm sure MOB will do fine in the future.

The talent is still on this server yall. All the good players that will be needed are already here deficating on people left and right. Im not worried. SPlit up and break ups happen, at least in this sense there seems to still be a level of mutual respect for one another. That shows maturity on both sides. Here are a few of my disappointments. These are not directed at you but in general.
I'm disappointed that people left for less than good reasons.
I'm disappointed that as soon as people left I get a flurry of messages ask for help setting up their new clan. ( Got a web question, got a server question, what do you know about SQL database, Why doesn't our gallery work, can you help me out with this, can you help me out with that, and on and on ).
I'm disappointed that everyone seems to completely ignore the fact the only reason TLD will be successful if they are is because of MOB. I'm sure a few people will jump on this one so I'll explain it. Where have all you people played for the last year+, where did all of you get to know each other from?
I'm disappointed how quick some people where willing to point fingers while they considered themselves completely innocent.
I'm disappointed that people don't recognize TLD is nothing more than MOB with a new tag and a new server name.
I'm disappointed that as quickly as people jumped ship, they seemed to forget the only reason they had a ship to jump from was do to other peoples hard work.
I'm disappointed from a screenshot I received of a TLD private message forum post when it was mistaken made public. Which basically said TLD needed to figure out a way to switch peoples loyalty from the MOB server to yours.
I'm disappointed by some of the remarks made by TLD people on our server.
I'm disappointed that TLD members were telling people to contact them through the MOBCLAN forum before your website was up.
I'm disappointed 2 TLD members were telling people on our server to go the the hoods server when you guys were thinking about joining them.
I'm disappointed that a TLD member came on our server without missionary.
BTW I don't think the person cheater but it only causes problems when a person is on without it.

Here is my specific problem. I have been trying to resolve this problem between individuals and I find myself constantly reiterating that my gripe is not related to whatever the problems are between certain TLD and MOB members. Whatever your disappointments are, I respect them. I'm not going to belittle your feelings on a matter I know nothing about. But while I seem to be trying my best to understand your concerns and respect them, you are not offering me the same courtesy.

Maybe some TLD members may have behaved inappropriately. But can you honestly say your members never do?

My brother's opinion is his own and yes, it is coincidental timing. However, it's not my duty nor his to point out the fact that we are related. Regardless of timing. And coincidence doesn't mean you weren't wrong in this matter and the only way you acknowledge this fact is a casual "couldn't be helped" shrugoff and basically saying it's ok for me to be disappointed because everyone else is.

ok im the new guy to {MOB} and probably wouldnt have happened if the SPLIT didnt happen..however: there r 2 clans now that transformed form from 1 great clan..now that said TLD and MOB give this thread the axe before anymore resentment is thrown either way...im not sure of all the details of the split but for the better of the clans enuff already drop the subject.. what is done is done and hopefully both clans will do good and stay playing MOH:AA since we all know we lose more and more elite players and clans due to indifferences and new games that come out all the time...remember the days when there were tons of great players and clans.....stop and look around people we r a dying few but the loyality in my heart with be with AA until there r no servers left and i hope u feel the same so just get along man

What I said has nothing to do with skills of the newly recruited, or their value, integrity, or whatever else you wanted to attach to it. So here is an exact definition of what I mean: "I, as an unknown, average player that always idolized mob, did so not only because of the skill level of MOB members but because of the incredible difficulty in being recruited by MOB".

And RealDeal's quote about the forest and the trees is EXACTLY the perfect line for this situation. Because of the breakup of MOB and TLD (the trees), you can't see the forest, which is simply.... a post from an average player that knows nothing of these things.

Now after all that, I do understand that the coincidences involved in this situation complicated things dramatically. But please take what I wrote at face value, and leave TLD and Aggression out of it, then incorporate my explanation above. Can you really say now, that my original post was insulting?
