You're probably trying to log in as registered. Try to do it anonymous and just type in your nickname.

i did that. i tried it with nothing but the ip and the password. no dice.

TS is working fine right now, atleast for me. There´s Shadow and Feezy and others. Sound quality is what it is usually with TS.

I have mixed emotions, sound quality sucks, I can hear shadow but have trouble hearing the diffrence between people, behemoth sounded like plague, if 2 people take they cancel everything out

On the login screen be sure you are using the "anonymous" option not "registered"
Password is the same as vent.

If it's not letting you connect, what error message does it give you

Did you up the rate from 16 kbit to 19.5 kbit? It sounds like the quality came up quite a bit since I was on earlier this afternoon.

No probs for me, seems to be fine

Or Silver, behemoth really did sound like me, dunno, but i just don't wanna get TS just for us and that's all i have on there, i have 11 servers about on vent.

I didnt do all that. I just clicked on connection and then quick connect and put the info in there. And it worked fine.

i tried that too, didn't work.

its a toss up for me, the same problem i have with shadow is the same problem I have when 2 people talk, same exact problem, and last night it dropped mike and he had to reconnect.

i still like vent, i hear its much better on sound. (i guess i don't have an opinion since i haven't even tried TS, but i haven't heard anyone like it more then vent).

i still vote for keeping vent, if there is even that option.

and i'll try that out druid, then post with the results.

Lipton are you running any firewall that might be blocking port 8767?

I think the sound quality is almost as good as Vent. No problems here, really, just an almost hollow sound.

I've noticed when 2 or more people talk it cuts in and out.

shadow started to fuzz out after about 5 minutes

Thanks Tarkus for your comments on the sig; =M.T= Moving Target clan was started in the UK, hence the Churchhill quote. Now made up of UK, US and Canadian members, some of which play here on the MOB Barbarossa servers. I hear that COD2 will be out on the MAC platform in April-June time frame.

I've changed the width of the sig at Druid's request. Testing here.

Maybe I'm wierd, but I really don't like TS. It's not that I fear change, it's just that I don't like using something of lesser quality when I can use Vent that works great, sounds great, and announces names, especially if it seems that people are having similar problems with both.
Just my 2 cents on the matter.

i like TS for its ability not to give out on me, but everything else i like better on vent.

Great news about COD2 - lets hope that they stick to the time scale and it works as well or better than the pc version!
The only comment I'd make about the sig is that I think the text could do with being a little clearer.
