it would appear your pc fears water! the only way to remedy this problem is to slowly accustomize your computer to it by dripping 2 to 3 drops of water straight onto your video card twice a day for two weeks. at the end of this process if things haven't improved, seek a new pc immediately!

This is the old fix, Canuck.
The new manuals clearly state that if your computer suffers from a fear of water, you must first unplug all electrical cords from the machine and then submerge the entire machine for 10-15 minutes in a tub of warm water. This allows the entire machine to become acclimated and not just the video card. You should see your frame rates change considerably and don't ask mom or dad before doing this. Surprise them, you will be glad you did!

On the T. Forest Beta 3, any tiem i get near water, my games legs down to 2-4 fps.
His this happened to anyone else. It seems like the water is hi quality and i have all my settings turned down low. I usaly run at 30fps. The only way i can get across water now it to ride along with someone and have them drive me acrose. Anything I can do to fix or inprove this problem?
Ok, ok, the bottom line is you don't quite have enough machine/video to run the map smoothly, especially around the water.
Water is a complex image and graphic cards have to work very hard to draw water so it appears like water on your monitor. If your processor cannot process this information fast enough, or your video card can't draw the images fast enough, you experience bottlenecks, therefore slowing your computer down dramatically.
The fix; First of all, turn down all in-game settings to the lowest available setting, including sound quality (not volume). Make sure all unnecessary background services on your machine are turned off including any anti-virus/anti-spyware software. Try that. If you still have problems, post your machine specs here and we can post some
prices suggestions to remedy the situation.
