If the Barb server is still here in September, I'll play. I think we can get maybe a dozen or so players that would play. Some of us have sat on the server waiting for it to fill but gave up after a half hour of waiting.

Even if it's just us 2, I'll still play.

If people want to give it a kickstart to see if it still has life, I suggest very informal interclan scrims scheduled for, say, Tuesday and Thursday night starting at 8:00PM EST. That is, set a time, and join the public server at that time, and try and keep teams very evenly balanced between MOB's and Regs. Leave it open for other players to join as well. Call it "old school Barb night". The key is to get a few people to commit to it before hand so that no one has to go and camp a dead server for 45 minutes before giving up. Even if 6 people commit, you can have a couple 3v3 matches, and perhaps more will join.

If anyone thinks this is a good idea I suggest posting a topic like "Old school Barb night this Thursday,8;00PM sign up now." I'd join.

I am sure ppl will come and what MoD said... if like 4 or 5 ppl come together, others will join... perhaps a developemt will occur as it was with smolensk, whan barbarossa was full the others went to smolensk, i am confident that similar thing will happen here... the MW barb will be full and the latecomers will go to the old barbarossa...

I've been gone for quite some time now while my laptop was sent out for repairs. I finally get it back, and find the "good ole regular Barb" is empty. I played the Modern Weapons server last night, and while it certainly is impressive, I definately prefer the classic version. I suppose I will come to enjoy the Modern Weapons as I learn them, but I hope the good ole reular Barb picks up after the novely of modern weapons wears off

Pain, how about posting a message in the general section for all to meet at a certain time to try and get the old Barb server going for a couple hours? Thursday night or maybe even Friday night this week? If it works, maybe we could set up 2-3 regular times during the week where old school Barb fans will try and go on and kickstart the server together. Not much difference to it than TWL players scheduling practice, except we're just scheduling some hopefully fun matches on the public server that anyone can join...even MFD scum!

God yes and even worse is missing Tucola. Am getting therapy for withdrawal symptoms. Just have to wait till you all get bored with spawn, sniped, dead, spawn,sniped, dead, spawn, sniped, dead................

Just play on the base assault servers, there's like 2 or 3 different maps, and barb repeats twice. I play on both the BAS server and Modern Weapons TDM server, I enjoy them both and can be very good at both.
