I have thought about this long and hard for the last several months and have come to my decision. I am retiring from {MOB}. My reasons are pretty simple and boring but I will post them anyhow.

MONEY! the root of all evil As anyone who's ever been in any clan before knows, money is ALWAYS an issue. Some members donate all of the time, some donate some of the time and some donate none of the time. This is not a knock in any way to any of our members. We all have real lives outside of the clan and not everyone can afford to contribute as much as they would like. This is typical of any clan. It would then be up to me to cover what the donations didn't. I was okay with this for a while but it's just become to burdensome for me.

TIME! I don't really have the time to play as much as I would like. As most of you know, after MOHAA I pretty much retired from competition all together as I definitely did not have the hours to spend practicing. But now between work and the family it's hard for me to play at all some nights. I just don't feel "right" running a clan and not even having the time to play with our members.

So time and money pretty much sums up why I am retiring.

I've had some AWESOME times with MOB. MOHAA was the first online game that I have ever played. I'll never forget the time I said "Let me try this thing called multi-player". It was an awesome experience. I started playing a lot on a server called "I Love Lucy", a gay name but a great server. Then I moved on to a server called Shred Co. This was an awesome server and it was from here {MOB} came to be. Clan Killa started {MOB} with a few of his personal friends as kind of a joke. (MOB stands for Money Over Bitches) When I received a positive response from Clan when I asked if I could join I was absolutely thrilled. That was around the beginning of the summer of 2002, now here we are more than 3 years later!

I have had so many amazing times in {MOB} that I could go on forever about them. I've made a lot of very good friends while in {MOB} (Probably more enemies though ) Some I hope will stay friends for a life time.

There are some people that I need to say a few words to:

Druid - I LOVE YOU ya bastard! I cannot tell you enough how much you mean to me. That might sound gay but I don't care. Without Druid, {MOB} would never be what it is today, shit without Druid {MOB} never would have lasted this long! Druid stuck by me during some very difficult times and for that I am forever grateful. We have become very good friends and I hope we continue our friendship for many years to come.

Casino, Big Dick Daddy, Ktulu & Cypher - After the split with TLD you guys stood behind me (easy now ) and with {MOB} - It took a lot of balls but you all did it and for that I will be forever grateful to all of you. You guys are all great friends.

NastyNate - You stoner! I still can't beleive your getting married to a woman. I was so sure that you were gay.. I love you man!

BigP - You will always be "dick" to me. I hope we will continue our friendship.

Stockguy - You were a real asset to our team and a HUGE part in {MOB} becoming #1 again after the split. I know you'll stay in touch with me just so you can talk to Mafia Princess!

To the rest of the guys - active and retired - Thank you, THANK you, THANK YOU!

I could go on forever with this stuff and probably will be replying to myself 100 times as things come to mind but that's it for now.... but there's two more people that I have to thank:

To Mafia Princess and my little buddy Nicolas: I love you both so much. Thank you sooooooo much for putting up with all my time away from you guys while I was either playing or doing something involving "the clan." You guys totally ROCK! You were always 100% supportive and understanding. Hmmm.. then again you told me not to retire from {MOB}.... is there something I should know about? Seriously, thank you.

BTW - I am not disappearing (Sorry to those that are disappointed ) I will definitely be around posting here and there. And you can always get me on xfire at mobrealdeal or yahoo at mob_realdeal.

{MOB} isn't dead yet. Some of the guys are working on trying to keep this boat afloat. I will of course help them as much as I can to make that possible, if that is the direction they decide to go.

Real you were a huge contributor to the Mohaa community and how long it lasted. I've always respected you. I never really got to know you at all but from what I've seen in your posts and play you have to be one stand up guy.

Almost 2 years back I got high speed internet for the first time. I was thinking to myself "hmmm... I should buy a game that uses this..." and then digging around thru my cd's I came across mohaa. "Oooh, this is multiplayer..." It was all downhill from there. I realized how sick we all are early on in goodfellas. I was playing with a lot of the old guys, Deuce, Cobra, Ateurnus, etc... and I got a bash on Cobra on DV. I was drunk off my ass and it was probably 4 am but I was screaming "I bashed Cobra! I bashed Cobra!" When I calmed down I apologized to everyone and said that I needed to be quiet cuz my wife already thought it was really gay that I talked to other men online as we played a game. Everyone else got quiet too and said their significant others felt the same way. I knew I'd found a home.
Even after the split, and I admit, I mostly played with the guys that split off, I continued to play at MOB for the same reason I started playing there. They had the best server running.
Here it is almost 2 years later and Mohaa is dead and we've had to rebuild again and it's a long road but we're making it. I think we've suprised a few people, even ourselves.
Thanks for everything Real. I hope we can keep this running partly for your sake. You've put in enough of your blood, sweat, tears and $ that I kinda feel we owe it to you.

Yah I know how hard it is to run a clan, running my own . From hanging out around here I can tell you're a really good leader and have a good crew.

IF {MOB} closes the only ones that would feel "vindicated" are those that are jealous. When we played MOHAA {MOB} made #1 several times and always had the one of the most popular servers. Everyone knows that, it's a fact. Now we have 3-4 COD:UO servers that are full and very popular.

As far as what people post on our forums, the easy answer is stop reading and don't come here. {MOB} only rarely censored or banned people from our forums. I always felt people were entitled to speak their mind regardless of what others thought about it. Besides, if our forums are really so bad, why is it that our forums are also the most popular in the community?

Well Real first off I wanna say thank-you for everything you did for MOB and the gaming community. You have showed more deication towards a clan then I have ever seen. You put your time, and money into this clan and for that everyone who was in {MOB} and play on our severs are thankful. You've always showed everyone complete respect, and and for the most part (diesel is not included) most people showed respect back and that is all you can ask for. Since I've been in {MOB} i've had a great time, {MOB} is like a family.

You brought this clan from not being a clan at all, to #1 and although you might not continue to play with us you will always be remember as the leader of {MOB}.

I've had no reason and made no attempt to ban you RD. You shouldn't take my well wishes with a grain of salt because I do mean them. I try to separate reality ie family, work, etc. from online forum/game play. Just because we've had our differences over several issues doesn't mean I would wish you ill by any means. If you have other areas of your life that need you energy and attention who am I to question that.

WOW!!! Real you made mohaa an enjoyable experience for me by putting in the time and money to have as cheat free server as possible.I want to thank you for always trusting me and helping me. Back before the split when I 1st started you and the other MOB guys were always willing to help me become a better player. Then by creating the Regs and inviting me in was an honor for me.I found a home with you and there is really no way to thank you enough for making the gaming community a really fun place to be.May the GOD of PEACE always shine upon you and yours!!! You better come around and play.And what about a farewell playing party? Maybe if we made it mandatory to be in MOB or Regs you must pay.Would that help keep you around at least to help with the admin stuff?

RD, sorry to hear you're leaving. MOB has always been a super competitive clan. I've been playing MOHAA since the days when COM was around. You guys have always been a quality team and I'm sure it has a lot to do with your leadership. Don't retire from the clan, just take a "long vacation" Good luck.
