{MOB} Dries Up LOAD

Not much of an accomplishment here but................  Nonetheless {MOB} pummeled them by a score of 384-248 on Remagen.  Funny thing is, LOAD was boasting about how easy realism is!  One of the LOAD boys even joked about how his "wife" thinks realism is too easy.  What's even funnier is how they started fucking around with the gravity controls in the server during the second map.  (They ran MatchWatch for us on our server because we had another match in progress.)
  It was thoroughly enjoyable!  Oh, and to the LOAD: We'll take you anytime on Stalingrad, except this time WE run MatchWatch.

New Maps For MOHAA!!

Stones has converted all SpearHead maps to Allied Assault. These maps play identical to Allied Assault and run very smooth.

We are running the new maps on our GoodFellas II Server.  The IP address is 69.56.164.123.

Before you can play, you'll need to download the map pack.  You can download it HERE from our files section.  The file is named zzz_ce_map.pk3.

Once you download it, place the file in your
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main
 directory.

That's it!  Run the game as usual and enjoy!

September 11

On the 3rd anniversary of 9-11, let's all take a moment to remember those who lost their lives on that fateful day as well as the young men and women serving in our Armed Forces who continue to put their lives on the line on a daily basis and those that have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms.

A Fallen Soldier

WiseGuys Now Running Freeze Tag

Our WiseGuys server is now running a Freeze Tag Mod.  The IP address is 69.56.164.123.  For those of you that do not know what the Freeze Tag Mod is about, read on...  The object of Freeze Tag is for each team to freeze all of the other players of the opposing team to win the round.  To freeze a player, simply kill them.  Once frozen, a player cannot re-spawn until one of his teammates melts his frozen body by using the laser (by pressing the "e" key) or standing next to him for a couple of seconds.  It has become quite a popular Mod in the MOHAA community.  For these reasons as well as a few requests, we decided we would try it and see how it goes.  Enjoy!
 

EA Games Anti-Cheat Petition

You may have already heard about this petition but just in case you haven't, read on.  I have never been fond of online petitions of any sort but who knows, maybe this will be the one that gets heard.  This petition was started to bring awareness to EA so that they will support, release and incorporate an official anti-cheat.  Not only for MOHAA but for the upcoming Pacific Assault and any future games as well.  It will take only a minute of your time, please click and sign the petition.

{MOB}'s 6v6 OGL Objective team played in a really interesting match this evening...  MATCH may be the wrong word...  MASSACRE would better describe this match.  Unfortunately, their team captain was not mature enough to handle his team's ass whoopin' like a man.  We won the first round by a score of 9-0 and the second round by a score of 12-1 (remember, this is Objective)  Be sure to check out the screen shots.  As always, you'll be sure to get at least a chuckle or two.

{MOB}#2 (Cobra, Little Old Man & Oppression) have taken over the coveted #1 spot on the OGL 2vs2 ladder by beating {RSHA}'s 2vs2 squad and in doing so, busted up {RSHA}'s undefeated streak on the 2v2 ladder.  The map was Destroyed Village and the final score was 75 - 59.

{MOB} remained undefeated and in 1st place on the TWL ladder winning our fourth straight against Team Naked.  Only two maps needed to be played.  The first map was Algiers, {MOB} won by a score of 139-111.  The second map was Stalingrad, {MOB} won by a score of 233-174.

In an extremely well fought match, {MOB} won the first map by a score of 89-69 and ={DMG}= won the second map 72-65.

 It was a best of three maps but only two needed to be played as {MOB} won the first two maps played - Algiers and Snowy Park (Our worst map- ;-)

{MOB} Takes Rung #2 on OGL

Although this match was played on 9/30/03, we are able to finally post this information now because the opposing clan. the Blackhats had disputed the match and despite OGL's ruling that the match should be replayed, the Blackhats forfeited the match and handed rung #2 to {MOB}.

We played on Snowy Park and won by a score of 463-248.

On the anniversary of 9-11, let's all take a moment to remember those who lost their lives on that fateful day as well as the young men and women serving in our Armed Forces, who put their lives on the line on a daily basis fighting for our freedoms.

We must never forget the events of that ill-fated day and always remember who our enemies are.

{MOB} was victorious by a score of 309-159.  Unfortunately for the 45th, two of their players did not show and they had to go with only 4 players vs. 6 {MOB} players.

MOBCLAN.COM - Server Crash

Earlier today, the server that MOBCLAN.COM is hosted on crashed.  Unfortunately, all forum messages posted after 
8-28-03 have been lost.  We have taken measures to ensure that should something like this happen in the future, we will not lose any forum messages.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

New Server Information

Due to the continuing lack of support from the companies who host our servers, we are in the process of moving our servers to a dedicated machine.  This should increase the quality of play for our great group of regulars.

There are a few issues still being worked on so the server will be up and down the next couple of days.

Outnumbered but not Outgunned

{MOB} pulls off a stunning 228-149 victory against [{E-com}] in OGL Ladder. With only minutes before the match started we lost three of our players, bringing our team down to only four available players. Playing against a well organized and skilled team, {MOB} was able to pull off the win in dramatic fashion.

Kudos to Cypher, Busta Nut, and Old Man for upholding {MOB}'s winning ways under extreme circumstances.

Having Trouble Logging On To Server #2?

{MOB} Leaves The OGL Ladder

On February 9th, we played the 7th Rangers Clan on the OGL Realism Ladder.  It had been relayed to us from other clans on the OGL ladder prior to the match, that the 7th Rangers cheat, so we asked that an OGL admin spectate the match.  It turns out that TWO OGL admins were there to spectate the match; OGL-Duvie and OGL-NurseRatched. 
We played 2 matches on Destroyed Village.  It was extremely obvious that the 7th Rangers were cheating.  I even told the admins to spectate me as I "tip-toed" into the room below the plank.  I would hide in there and the next thing you know, a grenade would be thrown in from nowhere.  That is just one example of many.  The pre-firing done by the 7th was unbelievable.  After the match, the admins held us back and because they thought that the 7th Rangers were cheating, asked all of us to take screen shots of each other and send them in so that they could review them.  {MOB} sent all of their screen shots in.  Apparently, one of the 7th Rangers, Silver, did not send in his screen shot.  Coincidentally, he was the player with the best score.
 Now you would think that OGL's decision would be one of four things:
1. Cancel the match altogether.
2. Cancel the match until the 7th Rangers agree to a rematch with forced screen shots during the match.
3. Suspend the player who did not submit the screen shot.
4. Suspend the entire 7th Ranger team.

Well none of that happened! Caine, the OGL Director decided to award the 7th Rangers the win!  The 2 admins who spectated the match even agree that they thought the 7th Rangers were cheating!  See the emails I sent to the admins and their responses HERE.  They clearly agree that the 7th Rangers were cheating!

Again, EVEN THE ADMINS who spectated the match AGREE THAT THE 7th RANGERS WERE CHEATING!!!!

This is why we have now pulled our main realism team as well as our 4 2vs2 teams out of OGL.  We are currently working on our own ladder of sorts with invited clans only.  If you are interested, please let us know in our forums.

We played KAOS tonight in our OGL ladder match.  {MOB} was victorious!  We played on Remagen.  We won the first map 128-85 and won the second map 177-111.  Nice job {MOB}!  As always screenshots can be found in the photo album or just click HERE.

{MOB} 2vs2 Team#3 played in their OGL ladder match against the Wicked Warriors.  The map was Stalingrad.  We won by a combined score of 36-27.  The screen shots for this match can be found HERE.

What a night for {MOB}!!
First, we played the SS clan.  They challenged us for our #1 spot on the OGL ladder.  We played Remagen.  We won the first map 266-172 and won the second map 238-138.  {MOB} holds on to the top spot.  The screenshots can be found HERE.
After that match, {MOB} 2v2 Team #3 played their match.  They challenged 9th GD for rung #3 on the GL 2v2 ladder. The map was Stalingrad. {MOB} won by a combined score of 21-12. These screenshots can be found HERE.
This was a big night for {MOB}!!  Congrats to all!

The Thunder 2 map has been removed from Server #1 (ip: 66.150.209.48) and Southern France #2 has been removed from server #3 (ip:66.151.182.150) until further notice.

Server #3 is back up!  The ip address is: 66.151.182.150.  We are running Druid's Equal Weapons Mod (same as server #1).
To play on this server, you need the Southern France2 map.

We took the top spot away from VX9 this evening.  We played on Destroyed Village and won the first map by a score of 262-127 and we won the second map 191-104.
This was a great win!  I knew in my heart,  long ago when I first joined {MOB}, that we would eventually join a ladder and take the top spot.  I am so proud of everyone in this clan and you should all be proud of yourselves.  It took a lot of hard work by all of us  to get where we are today.  Not to mention practice, teamwork and patience!  We hung together and stuck it out through those little bumps in the road on the way to becoming number 1.  You guys truly are the best!

We played our OGL ladder match tonight against KAOS who challenged us for rung #2.  {MOB} was again victorious!  We played Destroyed Village.  We won the first map 178-105 and the second map 278-113.  This was a great victory guys!  You should all be proud!  Rung #1... here we come.  As always, you can view the photos in the photo gallery, or just click HERE.

{MOB} 2v2 OGL ladder team #2, (Big Dick Daddy, Epacy and Druid) had its first title defense tonight.  It was against ICB 8 on Algiers.  We won the first map 39-14 and the second map 44-25.  They successfully defended their #1 ranking and await the next challenger.  The screen shots are in the PHOTO ALBUM or just click HERE.

Clan 280d challenged us for the 3rd rung on the OGL ladder.  The map was Algiers, {MOB} played as Allies first and won the first map by a score of 105-79. We finished with a 175-93 win!

{MOB} OGL Ladder Team #2 (Big Dick Daddy, Epacy and Druid) have now reached the #1 spot on the OGL 2v2 ladder.  Congratulations guys!  Great work!  {MOB} Team #3 is sneaking up right behind ya!

{MOB} Server #3 (ip: 66.151.182.61) is up and running again.  We are running this server with the CKR 1.1 mod.  The current map rotation is: Southern France, Small City, Destroyed Village, Small Town, Remagen, Thunder 2, Stalingrad, Needle, Algiers, Southern France #2 and Omaha Tank Assault.  You will need to download the Server #3 Map pack.  You can download it by clicking HERE or by visiting our files area.

Thunder 2 Map has now been added to the rotation in Server #1, 65.150.209.48.  You can download the map by clicking HERE or going to our files section.  Remember, if you have any comments or suggestions regarding our servers, please go to the forums and join in the discussion.

Well {MOB}Team #2 (OGL 2vs2) did it again!  Druid and Big Dick Daddy just played for rung 17 on the OGL ladder and won. The match was played on Algiers and they won the first map on Axis by a score of 10-3.  Then they took the Allied side and finished it up by a score of 12-5.  They're movin' on up, to the sky! Won't be long now.  Congrats fellas!  As always, screen shots are posted in the photo gallery.

We played a clan called {Totenkopf} |ESS| on the OGL ladder.  We played Stalingrad and won!  We won the first map 191-137 and the second map 179-82. Now, it is not like {MOB} to bad mouth another clan however, without going into details, {Totenkopf} |ESS| give a really bad name to MOHAA clans and the entire OGL ladder system.  Check the photo gallery for the screen shots.

{MOB}#2 won another match tonight against [DAS REICH] 1st Platoon.  Druid and I got them on the first map 36-20, us on Allies.  Then we racked up on the Axis side with a 38-25 win.  Now {MOB}#2 sits at rung #26 on the OGL 2vs2 ladder with only one direction to go!

We played for rung #2 on the OGL ladder last night against 6.PanzrTeiling.  I am sad to report that we lost by a score of 346-322.  We won the 1st map but lost the second map.  We are still on rung 3 and live to fight another day.
 

{MOB}#2 2vs2 OGL Ladder Update:
{MOB}#2 has won its last 2 matches in the 2vs2 OGL Realism Ladder.  The first win was over [9thGD]Feuersturm.  The first round was a little to close for our taste but still a 47-27 win.  The next round, a little better, 60-32.  The 2nd Match we had was against [TNT] 2vs2#1.  The first round I have to admit we were a but worried about with a near win of 25-21. (Way too close) But as {MOB} members always do, we turned it around with a whopping 35-14 win in the second round.  {MOB}#2 is currently on rung #33 and climbing.  I am sorry for the late post but I will make sure RealDeal gets an update so you will know how your boys in the bush are doing.  As always, click on the MATCH RESULTS link for the screen shots.  -Big Dick Daddy
 

Last night we played the ELT clan.  Another interesting match.  First we played Destroyed Village on our server using our mod.  We beat them by a score of 231-97.  Don't get fooled by the screenshot of the score.  They had more players but they bailed out before I could get the screen shot.  Then we played Algiers on their server using the Areas5 mod.  Few of the people in MOB had ever played that mod before.  The recoil of the weapons on that mod is SEVERE!  and that's putting in lightly.  We won that map too by a score of 258-186.  They weren't the best of sports.  Click HERE for some interesting screenshots taken during the match.  These photos are also available by clicking on the MATCH RESULTS button.

We played a match against AOD last night.  Another win by the MOB!  This one was interesting though.  We played with no mods.  Stock weapons/no realism.  This is what AOD plays all the time.  MOB rarely if ever plays this type of mod.  Additionally, they had one extra player through the first 2 maps!  We played 3 maps and swept 'em all!
We played Algiers first.  MOB won 190-145.
Second was Southern France.  MOB won 247-239.
Last map was Snowy Park.  MOB won 270-193.

Ok, yes, my score was absolutely horrible. I apologize.  I was dealing with some very heavy lag... no excuse though as everyone else seemed to have no problem.
