I've got an R/C plane.
My father is HUGE into r/c planes.
no lie. are planes cool? like hard to use, learn? i use to race buggy when i was like 12....my kids are getting into it so im gonna pick it back up.

Several years back I used to race them. Bought a car kit that cost over 300 bucks which was a lot back then. Took some time building it too. After the extra batteries, charger, cooling fan, tires, and faster motor, I had too much money in it. Then turned around and sold it for nothing.

They aren't too bad. Before I ever flew I spent some time on a simulator on my computer. I just bought one of those cheap game pads from Wal-Mart since it has the two joysticks on it, and it's a lot like fliying a real plane. I haven't flown it in about a month though because the motor burned up when I crashed it to the ground the last time I flew it. I think the best thing to get for your first plane is a foam one. You can just tape it back together if you break it, that's what I did, and it flies fine.
