Reject, if Wednesday you and your bro can put up 6:1 numbers again AND get your SS out to us without a problem You'll never hear me calling you a hack again. (actually, I haven't called you a hack yet, but I am reserving the right) You guys won by a 3:1 ratio. 150 something to 50 something tells me that we were flat out owned, not just 'had a bad night.' or 'we'll do better next time.' If SK is that dominant of a force, than Wednesday's match should be roughly the same result. That's really what I'm interested to see, that and 6 complete zip files in the inbox =) We hold practices regularly using Reverend, might not be a bad idea to practice closing out the program a few times to work the bugs out =)

ReJect this is the line within my little novel to realize. I know what it's like to be called a hack as does anyone here who's ever played on T-C's server months ago before some new blood got them to see their ways.

I don't think you hacked, I think you played really well and nothing that happened makes me conclude that you hacked in the match. It would have been nicer if you were pinging 40 v 110 but that could be just my ego and if all the Rev stuff completed you'd be challenging #1 right now.

Some others disagree with me to varying degrees and I wasn;t playing their side of the map as much so who knows. SK had a really good night but a bad night regarding their screenies. I am nearly convinced [95% as mentioned] that someone else likely was but I have no clue who because i never hit them and they never hit me.

Who's not to say I acidentally ran for a step at that corner or that the guy thought he heard or saw something and shot.

We don't know and that's why the dispute went to a rematch, no one has proved anything.

Not exactly gomer, it all started out as fun and games on the sk forums, until your pal got all serious and started yelling and screaming we are hacks. Personally, that's a sensative subject for me because it brings out what a loser you are to accuse someone of hacking with no proof (no affense heavy). Here again, I'm posting again, and I have my reasons why, I apologize MOB to keep this topic going. Hopefully you guys shut this down after the match Wednesday, and we put the bickering to bed.

You guys realilze of course, we're all closing in on the same point here. In MOHAA, credibility and reputation are everything. In a game that runs anti cheat, the assumption is made than anyone not running it may be cheating.
Hacks or no hacks really isn't the point. When you play as well as you apparently did, you HAVE to have the zip files to back up your points. Nobody is gonna take the results serious if you can't prove you're clean.

Yeah, the text files are important. Given your scores last time around, you guys are already on top of your game, I'd use the next day and a half to practice closing reverend and emailing screenshots, although given Heavy's statistical analysis on reverend issues, you should be off the hook for like another million and a half matches I think =)

No it was some where between 4,000 and 58,000 roughly. I think you're referring to two players' cats chewing through the power chord at exactly the same time while closing reverend and shooting 1 and 2 respectively.

If you guys or your clan doesn't spend hours on tweaking your Reverned setup then this is all for not unless we win.

To be clear, I have played reverend since day one. I have certainly had problems with new versions getting in and being confirmed [which was fixed after some adjustments] but NEVER closing out. One of you mentioned something about leaving clean being an issue with this new Rev. version, not sure if it was Khem or Rej but one of you mentioned that this was not the first time. Sadly, Mars is the best guy I know for SW fixes but he is SW engineer so it's like natural for him, he was the guy to get T-C all in line for their first Rev. match.

If you win this match, you must exit clean, there is no way other than that and every match you play here forward will have the other team requiring screenies if you can't [happen to not] close out clean.

There is plenty of time but to not figure out why and tweak whatever might be there plus given the more than once nature for one of you means you must figure out what is up.

Simply said. Believe me that OGL is likely going to look at not being able again as a BIG problem. You guys will figure this out, many of us [clans] actually go into a MW server an hour ahead of time to make sure that we are good with the SW.

well maybe if you guys know alot you could possibly help me except for the fact that you guys haven't been exactly nice to me but let me know.

I've been nothing less than a 'pillar of mutual friendship' between our two clans so I'll offer some help Reject.

Download and run a program called End it all before loading up TS or Rev; this closes a lot of non-essential windows, Norton,and porn dialer programs to conserve resources. (It also helps to avoid the 'so and so has started this process' during the match. I think end it all costs a few bucks now, but it's worth it.

Clean out your SS folder.

Check your unnamed soldier config file for aliases that some servers toss in, edit if necessary to avoid having to reset your play keys when you are verified, otherwise Reverend will give you a stock one and you can reset your keys once you are verified.

Make sure you have the correct OS selected in Rev and make sure you've run a zip test.

If REV asks you if you'd like to update tonight, answer no, the latest version has not been approved for OGL yet.

When closing Reverend, guard your PC from random marauding cats, cans of Pepsi from spilling on your keyboard, and other external threats. Reverend can sometimes take several minutes to close up, be patient.

It sounds like there is something else going on if Rev is flagging you going into a match and asking if you want to fix it.

Sadly, Mars is the top guy for troubleshooting these kind of issues.

Checking you unnamed soldier config is a little tricky, you have to know where the file is andopen it in word or notepad or something and then clean or clear all of the aliases below a certain point.

These aliases are put in your config when you go into certain servers that have anti-cheat meassages involved. The lines to delete are easy to reckognize because they say stuff like "if xyz = 512 then "Stop me !!!!! I'm hacking, kick me kick me, kick me". Stuff like that.

I WOULD NOT TRY TO DO THIS ALONE ! you need to have someone walk you through it live.

No...there isnt. Pub servers can throw aliases in there. Doesnt mean the person is doing it themselves. Rev flags it and fixes it. After you are done with rev it asks you if you want to restore the config to its original status.

This is not a sinister statement.....

This entire thing has been about ReJect not being able to close reverend on occasion and that his text files and zip folder weren't created, which I doubt has something to do with extra lines in your config.

He basically just mentioned that he gets a flag starting up reverend, that would qualify as 'something else.'You can manually correct your config, you can have a copy of your config stored to replace it, or you can do a temporary fix and then have the bad config [as Rev is concerned] restored after the match.

SK played a hell of a match tonight (with three admins spectating) and beat us clean. Well done guys.

Yes, SK beat us, like last match, they got first kill hunting down DJ w/ a 110 v 35 ping.

Like last match, it was safe camp first round then go get them in a smart fashion second round. We pushed map room again with casbah as a second try. We were able to push through but not netting kills but we took ground when we tried versus unable to go anywhere last time. ReJect and Khemist both closed out of reverend fine shooting 1-0,1-0 the first round and 12-12, 8-7 the second. Khemist can cut a corner like no one I know [i mean that,] he shows no profile and is a pain in the a$$ to shoot back @. good game boss.

Not the a$$ whooping like last time this match really went to Injector and Hans who shot a solid 2-1 to make the game. Last match had an SK spawn inside our perimeter and the second match had 1 of us spawn within their spawn and we got owned on the first kill despite every attempt to hide like a bitch.

Good game and all SK player produced all files.

Khemist and ReJect will get their ratios back, these kids have some skills in the leaning department.
